    Target 298

Adam Zampa is back into the attack and it is a solid return. Moeen Ali pushes the third ball away for a single. James Vince then sends an uppish cut towards the third man boundary that Kane Richardson does well to claw back. However, after all that effort England ran four anyway.

Six off the over in total.

That is a bad missed stumping.

Huge miss! James Vince dances down the track but completely misses the ball, but luckily for Vince so did wicketkeeper Alex Carey. To make things worse for Australia the ball disappears all the way for four byes.

  8. Eng 180-4published at 31 overs

That's nicely played from James Vince, tucking the final ball of the over off his pads towards the square-leg boundary for two. Seven off the over and a good recovery from England following the dismissal of Jos Buttler.

A fine fifty from James Vince, the sort of busy accumulation that Joe Root also does so well coming in at number three.

This is a good test for Moeen Ali. Moeen is a poor starter against spin. This is a good opportunity to practice what might come in a World Cup game.

Nathan Lyon continues and England again struggle to get him away. Just the two singles off the over.

That is a crying shame. The last 30 balls from Jos Buttler has been the first bit of excitement we have had all day.

It is not a bad thing. You don't want to rely on Jos Buttler all of the time.

If England are going to win this World Cup then the lower and middle order will have to help.

... he is gone next ball! It is a slower ball from Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jos Buttler is through the shot too early and it loops up for Marcus Stoinis to take an easy catch at midwicket.
