Vince 34, Buttler 2
James Vince still looks very calm. He's nudging one and twos into this big outfield. We've said it so many times but can he go on and play a match-winning knock for his country?
The win predictor on the TV now has Australia as favourites, I think for the first time in this innings. Buttler gets off the mark with a single. The required rate is edging towards seven.
Jos Buttler strides out. England need some runs from their stand-in captain.

It was a flatter delivery from Lyon, he speared it through. It was a bit premeditated from Stokes who was going to try the shot regardless of the delivery.
Stokes st Carey b Lyon 20 (Eng 100-3)
The drop doesn't cost Australia. Ben Stokes falls as Nathan Lyon wins the pair's ongoing battle. Lyon has kept Stokes tied down and the England all-rounder goes for a big shot, misses and is stump.
A soft end to Stokes' innings.
100 up.
Stokes gets away with another! He tries to flick one off his toes but the ball hits the back of his bat and chips in the air.
Aaron Finch comes in from mid-on and has to dive but fails to hold on. He got there...

Target 298
The reverse sweep nearly costs Ben Stokes again. The ball loops up in the air - I think off his glove - but Steve Smith can't get there before the ball hits the turf.
It looked like Smith almost gave up on it. Maybe I'm being harsh but where was the dive?

That was glorious to watch. Vince dances down the wicket, goes towards the ball and drop-kicks it over the leg side. Very Michael Vaughan-esque.
The Southampton crowd like that. Their home favourite James Vince skips down the pitch and hits Nathan Lyon to the boundary. He doesn't try and whack it. He just chips it over the infield and places it bewteen two fielders on the rope.
Lovely.
Target 298
Marcus Stoinis' part-time seam might be what England target today. Stokes tries an aggressive stroke off his first delivery but completely mistimes it. Luckily for the England all-rounder the ball falls short of the fielder in the deep.
Five from the over again.
Marcus Stoinis is on for his first bowl of the day. Will he have a better day with the ball than he did with the bat?
Vince 24, Stokes 12
James Vince is using his feet to Nathan Lyon. He's skipping down the pitch at every opportunity but as yet he's yet to play the big shot. England look happy to tick along. They'll know they can speed up later in the innings. They've done it plenty of times.
Need 218 to win
There has only been one boundary since the 10th over. It's not often we say that about England. Australia deserve credit for how well they have bowled.
Just five from this over. The required rate creeps up to 6.6.

The pitch looks quite dusty out there, it's a dry old summer. That's global warming for you.
I may as well show you the Jonny Bairstow wicket again while the players take a drink...
Jason Roy did not look comfortable at all here. A difficult pitch?
Need 223 to win
Australia are certainly in the game. There are things happening and a few nervous moments for the batsmen.
Groans come from those around the bat when Lyon almost darts one onto Stokes' front pad.
Just three dots from the over. That's drinks.
