Honestly. The dedication on show here. The colour co-ordination. The neat lines. Terrific work.

Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne: "We batted first in the last game. now we know how the conditions will play. I think our batsmen have some ideas on how to score. It's not a 300 wicket but we should know how to get our best score on this wicket."

Afghanistan captain Gulbadin Naib: "The conditions are suitable for the bowlers and there's cloudy weather, so it's a good toss to win. We took a lot of things from our last game against Australia. Sri Lanka are a champion side so it depends on the day if we play our best cricket."

It's a bit murky in Cardiff - Ali Mitchell reckons we'll get half-an-hour of play before the first shower arrives.

Oh, that is a greenish pitch as well. Good luck, Sri Lanka.

Afghanistan are unchanged, and there's no Jeevan Mendis for Sri Lanka. They have added an extra seamer in Nuwan Pradeep.

It is not raining! A strong start.

Up goes the coin from Gulbadin Naib and Dimuth Karunaratne calls incorrectly.

Afghanistan will have a bowl first.

This could be an interesting one today.

Sri Lanka have never won an ODI at Cardiff and their dismantling at the hands of New Zealand won't have helped their confidence.

They were knocked out of last year's Asia Cup by Afghanistan and, since the last World Cup in 2015, Afghanistan have won more ODIs than Sri Lanka, despite having played 22 fewer games.

Favourites England slipped to a stunning 14-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan at Trent Bridge.

Honestly, it was a belter of a match as Pakistan posted 348-8 and England, despite centuries from Jos Buttler and Joe Root, fell short.

Don't believe me? Read for yourself...

Hello! Shall we have some more cricket?

We're heading to a hopefully non-rainy Cardiff for Afghanistan v Sri Lanka, two sides who lost their respective World Cup openers.
