Let's have a recap of a cracking encounter at Trent Bridge...

More from Aaron Finch: "We kept taking wickets through that middle part, which was crucial.

"You have to keep trying to get wickets, once the West Indies batsmen get set they are so destructive and can hit it to all parts.

"You have to try and stall their momentum and get them to take risks - it came off today.

"We still need to work on things. All of our top order except Steve Smith were disappointing and in our bowling we didn't get our short balls high enough and bowled a bit wide at times. But to get two points from that game is a real positive."

Australia captain Aaron Finch: "We just kept hanging in there. We were able to fight back through Alex Carey and Steve Smith getting us a bit deeper. Then for Nathan Coulter-Nile to play the way he did was exceptional.

"We've always felt he had the ability to do something like that and this time he had the opportunity to bat a bit longer.

"I absolutely was nervous. At 38-4 and they keep coming hard at you - we just had to keep hanging in there and to get 288 in the end was outstanding."

  17. Postpublished at 18:46 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

West Indies skipper Jason Holder: "I thought we were well in the game, just a few irresponsible shots when we probably needed to tap it around a bit more.

"To get Australia at 288 we would have taken that, I just think the batters need to take responsibility. We still believe we can win this competition, it's wide open."

Jason Holder is up for his post-match interview.

He's pretty unflappable but looks a bit crushed here.

  19. 'We would have backed ourselves to defend 150'published at 18:42 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

Man-of-the-match Nathan Coulter-Nile on his 92: "I didn't think I'd get that much but happy to. I got a bit of a spray from the coach after getting out in a warm-up game so thought I'd just stick around. I had a pull shot second ball that was close and I got dropped so luck went my way.

"If we had got bowled out for 150 we still would have backed ourselves.

"I found it very difficult, they were either bowling very quick or the pitch was up and down. It looked like they were on track the whole way until Starc came back."

  20. Postpublished at 18:41 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

Nathan Coulter-Nile gets player of the match for his remarkable 92 off 60 balls.

It was the joint-highest score by a number eight batsman in ODI cricket, level with Windies' Andre Russell.

Chris Woakes retains the record for his 95 not out against Sri Lanka in 2016.
