It took two brilliant innings from Smith and Coulter-Nile to get Australia to a good score so West Indies should feel there are a lot of positives to take from this game.

He did take a catch that I think was just better than Ben Stokes', but with the bat he was barely in the frame on the TV set he was backing away so much to have a swipe.

    Cottrell b Starc 1 (WI 256-9)

    You miss, Mitch hits.

Sheldon Cottrell backs away, trying to carve over the off-side but Mitchell Starc has pushed it up and duly smacks middle stump.

An emphatic way to complete a sublime five-for.

Having Starc and Pat Cummins will mean Australia will feel confident of defending any even vaguely challenging total in this tournament.

    Need 33 from 16 balls

Starc thumps it into Nurse's pads down leg and it squirts away for a leg bye.

Isn't it funny how the emotions go in this game. When the West Indies had Australia 80-5 they had the game.

Mitchell Starc's fourth wicket took him to 150 ODI wickets in the fewest games in history.

He's reached the mark in his 77th ODI, beating the previous record of Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Musthaq by one match.

He has one over left to make it a five-for...

  9. WI 253-8published at 46.4 overs

A full toss hits the pads and Australia appeal for lbw.

Not given and Windies scamper a single.

    Ashley Nurse inside edged that.

  10. WI 252-8published at 46.3 overs

Ashley Nurse charges, misses and the ball flies between his pads the leg stump.

Three dot balls in a row.

    Marcus Stoinis is back on.

West Indies were hoping to face him with at least one of Holder or Brathwaite still in.

What can Ashley Nurse and salutin' Sheldon Cottrell do?

Windies need 37 from 24 balls.

Very, very good bowling by Mitchell Starc, two wickets in the over, and that could easily be the game.

    Holder c Zampa b Starc 51 (WI 252-8)

    Ballgame.

Jason Holder can barely drag himself from the pitch, knowing this mishit has probably cost his side the match.

It's banged in short from Mitchell Starc and Holder swivels, but can only loop it off the glove straight to Adam Zampa at short fine leg.

Sickener for the Windies. Australia have fought back in fine style.

Nurse can handle himself with the bat. If he stays there with the captain, anything is possible. Not a very good shot from Brathwaite, off the toe of the bat.

Holder will have to do it all on his own from here.

    Brathwaite c Finch b Starc 16 (WI 252-7)

Carlos Brathwaite holes out! Are Australia favourites now?!

It's a low full toss slower ball from Mitchell Starc and Brathwaite's eyes light up as he tries to mash it out of the stadium.

But he miscues the shot and the ball flies high, with Aussie skipper Aaron Finch taking a good catch at long on. A third wicket for Starc.

Ashley Nurse can just about handle the bat but Jason Holder will have to take charge now.

  20. WI 251-6published at 45 overs

Need 38 runs from 30 balls

Pat Cummins to bowl his final delivery... it's short, Jason Holder flinches and it flicks off his body fine for a leg bye.

The umpire decided he was taking evasive action, not playing no stroke, otherwise it would've been a dead ball.

Cummins' superb bowling display comes to an end - stuning figures of 10-3-41-2.

Windies will be delighted to see the back of him.
