Australia look clear favorites to win the World Cup. England will really have to raise their game to get a score against this attack.

Mitchell Starc is a very, very handy weapon to have.

Here is how he completed a superb five-wicket haul today.

This is his SIXTH five-wicket haul in just 77 one-day internationals.

And fans of every other nation in this World Cup besides Australia will have just experienced that all-too familiar sinking feeling.

The Aussies were absolute tripe in ODI cricket not long ago.

Now? It feels like they're firmly in the mix for a sixth World Cup title.

That's a 10th straight ODI win for Aaron Finch's side.

Australia will feel winning the game from where they were that they can beat anybody.

It was a wonderful game of cricket. What a way to end the match - four fours. Smith played a wonderful knock and kept his composure and Coulter-Nile changed the game completely. Australia were under pressure for most of the game but never gave up.

  6. Australia win by 15 runspublished at 50 overs

    WI 273-9

Bizarre. Another dreadful delivery from Nathan Coulter-Nile and Ashley Nurse smashes it through the covers for a fourth four in a row.

Anyway. The Aussies jog in to celebrate, having completed a fine 15-run victory over West Indies.

A big hand for Steve Smith and Coulter-Nile with the bat and Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins with the ball.

The Aussies were in the mire at 79-5 but fought back superbly. West Indies will be gutted and left to rue their mistakes.

  7. WI 269-9published at 49.5 overs

Nathan Coulter-Nile is having a meltdown here. It won't matter for the result but his pride is taking a battering.

Another short slow one and Ashley Nurse swivels it round the corner for four.

  8. WI 265-9published at 49.4 overs

And now Ashley Nurse cracks a half volley through the covers for four.

    Well, why not?

  9. WI 261-9published at 49.3 overs

Hey-oh! Some balls are just so bad, you can't just block them.

Nathan Coulter-Nile sends down a short slower ball and Ashley Nurse whacks a pull shot round the corner for four.

  10. WI 257-9published at 49.1 overs

Here is Nathan Coulter-Nile to bowl the last over.

And Ashley Nurse is indeed blocking it out.

A shame to see such a cracking match end this way.

We are running a predictions game among the BBC Sport cricket team for this World Cup.

Only one person picked Mitchell Starc as leading wicket-taker.

They are looking very smug right now.

Arslan Tahir: Mitchell Starc is absolutely world-class. He is like 85% of Wasim Akram. What a win for the Aussies.

  13. WI 257-9published at 49 overs

Need 32 runs from six balls

And Oshane Thomas defends the last, declining the single on offer.

I think we'll see Ashley Nurse block out the last over to prevent his side getting bowled out.

Or, you know, smack 32 runs off it. Ahem.

  14. WI 257-9published at 48.5 overs

Ashley Nurse does take a run now as he pulls out through mid-wicket, the ball ricocheting off the diving Nathan Coulter-Nile and Glenn Maxwell doing really well to get down and tap it away from the boundary rope just in time.

I think we are seeing net run-rate here, not wanting to be bowled out, which could make all the difference to qualifying.

  16. WI 256-9published at 48.4 overs

Ashley Nurse is turning down singles here...

And Nurse blocks the first delivery.

Marcus Stoinis to bowl the penultimate over.

What price Ashley Nurse smacking him for a few sixes?

Wayne Ellis: This performance has been classic West Indies. Some great moments in the field and with the bat, but no killer instinct and some very questionable decisions.

  20. WI 256-9published at 48 overs

Need 33 runs from 12 balls

Positives there may be, but West Indies should have won this one.

Oshane Thomas does very, very well to dig out a 92mph yorker to finish Mitchell Starc's spell.

    Amazing figures - 10-1-46-5.
