112 of the 210 legal balls bowled by the 35th over were pitched back of a length.
A sharp single off the last. The throw hits the stumps but Steve Smith was easily home.

Largely he is getting a good hand, quite right too. I think he might get a bit more of a hostile reception during the Ashes.
Sheldon Cottrell pushes it wide and Steve Smith deftly guides it away to the third man boundary, where Andre Russell rather runs over the ball and it hits the rope.
A good reception for Smith - a couple of boos but very quickly drowned out by applause from around Trent Bridge.
Salutin' Sheldon is back...
Australia have done pretty well since Alex Carey nicked off...

Australia certainly have a good bowling attack, if they can get to 250 it could be a real challenge for the West Indians.
Smith 47, Coulter-Nile 21
Dre Russ sends down a good yorker that NCN does well to dig out.
Coulter-Nile inside edges the last ball into his pads and Smith calls him through for a single, robbing himself of the strike.
Russell pushes a slower ball fuller and Coulter-Nile miscues an attempted drive down the ground but survives as it drops over the retreating fielders at mid-wicket.
Russell responds by banging it in very shot and is called a wide.
And again! Russell has lost his radar, he's putting it well inside his own half of the pitch.
Well, he looked crocked but Andre Russell is going to continue...
And Nathan Coulter-Nile welcomes that by tucking into a short ball and hooking away for four.
He's settled in after his very ropey start.

Thomas is still learning the art, he is very new in his career but he's got pace which is important, he can be a bit of handful in years to come.
Run rate 4.88
Oshane Thomas slides down leg and Nathan Coulter-Niles flicks at it, the ball looping for a long time but finally falling safe of Nicholas Pooran at deep backward square leg and away for four.
NCN flicks another single round the corner off the last to keep the strike.

Steve Smith has scored one run in the off-side half of the 'V'. Mid-off may as well have a brew when he's on strike.
Nathan Coulter-Nile digs out a yorker from Oshane Thomas and digs it out so well the ball zips down the ground for four.
Sheldon Cottrell started to give chase and had to stop and rev himself up before going again. Unsurprisingly, the ball won the race.

West Indies have field extremely well, saved ones in the field and really looked the part today.
Andre Russell serves up a long hop that Nathan Coulter-Nile drives away but Jason Holder makes a fine diving stop to keep it to one.
Steve Smith plays out three dots before he is able to carve the last out through the covers to scamper three.
Russell needed some treatment himself while Smith was having his hand looked at and is limping a tad now.
It looks like he'll be limited to two or three-over spells in this tournament but Windies won't mind if he remains this effective doing so.
Steve Smith gets a bit of treatment and shakes his right hand a fair few times.
He's OK to continue. On we go.
