    Khawaja c Wahab b Amir 18 (Aus 277-5)

Mohammad Amir gets the second wicket his fine bowling has deserved.

A slower ball from the returning left-arm fast bowler and Usman Khawaja chips it straight to Wahab Riaz at mid-off.

Wahab has had two catches put down off his bowling today but avoids the same mistake, tumbling after safety taking it.

A hearty celebration from Pakistan, who through Amir could still restrict Australia here.

Stuart Mitchell: Warner isn't 'back' - he was gifted about 90 of those runs by poor bowling and fielding. It's made to look a good score due to the pitch and said deficiencies from Pakistan. Against a competent attack he wouldn't have got 20 on that wicket.

  4. Aus 277-4published at 42 overs

    Run rate 6.60

Australia will want 350 minimum from here.

  5. Aus 273-4published at 41.1 overs

Hassan Ali is back and starts by gifting one on the legs that Usman Khawaja flicks fine for four.

I think it's a pitch where you are never quite in as a batsman.

Re: 'Gutted Warner didn't get booed at 100' comment. You don't have to like him or let him off the hook for appalling behaviour, I certainly don't, but booing achievement isn't the answer. Hitting a century to a silent crowd would have a greater impact on the player.

At least it only costed three runs in the end...

Wahab is going round the park here.

And now Shaun Marsh joins in, guiding a wide full toss outside off through the covers for four.

A response from Wahab Riaz off the last, finding a bit of bounce to evade Marsh's cut shot.

Wide again and Khawaja guides it fine for four more.

It was a nothing delivery from Wahab.

    That was a fine stroke.

  14. Aus 260-4published at 40.2 overs

Wahab bangs it down very wide of off and Khawaja pulls it out through mid-wicket for four. Buffet bowling.

We could see some carnage now.

Shaheen Afridi finishes with figures of 2-70 off his 10 overs.

He bowled two of the worst overs you'll ever see opening the bowling on a green deck but dragged it back a bit afterwards.

    Pakistan just aren't there today.

  19. Aus 254-4published at 39.4 overs

More poor ground fielding from Pakistan as Shoaib Malik lets a drive get through his hands and streak away to the boundary. And just when they had built up some pressure.

I think he enjoyed that one.
