  1. Afg 184-3published at 37 overs

    Target 398

Is it difficult to bowl in this situation when you know you're going to win and the batsmen are batting without pressure? Should England be doing a better job of this?

The crowd are at least getting a full game of cricket.

Rashid is hit for another boundary, this time a sweep behind square.

  5. Afg 180-3published at 36 overs

Need 218 more to win in 14 overs

More runs for Afghanistan. Their supporters are getting plenty to cheer now. Archer's radar lets him down and Hashmatullah flicks one off his hip down to fine leg for four.

Afghanistan's run-rate is 10.80 in the last five overs.

  6. Afg 175-3published at 35.2 overs

Asghar Afghan is still going to attack the England bouncers, despite the drop in the last over. This will be frustrating for Archer.

I think England have over-egged the pudding with the bouncer a bit.

  8. 50 runs

50 for Hashmatullahpublished at 35 overs

The Afghanistan fans are getting louder and louder in the stands. They're not going to win this but it's a spirited performance from the team who are currently bottom of the World Cup table.

Hashmatullah Shahidi sweeps Rashid for four to reach his fifty.

This is the six Swanny is talking about below. Aggers says it may be the shot of the day.

    It really is remarkable.

There is some spirited batting going on. That six Hashmatullah hit off Mark Wood brought a smile to my eyes.

  11. Afg 161-3published at 34.1 overs

That's Bairstow's second drop of the day. It wasn't as easy as this one earlier...

Jonny Bairstow is having a bit of a dodgy day in the field.

It wasn't easy but it wasn't that much more difficult than the one we saw Zadran drop early on.

  13. dropped catch

Afghan dropped on 28published at 34 overs

The short ploy should have a wicket! Jofra Archer finds the top-edge of Asghar Afghan's bat but Jonny Bairstow spills the catch running in from fine leg.

It wasn't easy, the Yorkshireman had to run and dive forward, but he'd expect to take it.

That was lacking that bit of bite and venom you have to produce. It was a bit of a long-hop.

  15. Afg 159-3published at 33.3 overs

Jofra Archer's head rocks back and he has a resigned look on his face. Afghan gets in position to this bouncer and pulls for four.

  16. Afg 155-3published at 33.2 overs

England have a short leg in again so the short stuff is going to continue. Eoin Morgan is the man under the helmet. It's fair to say his back must be better or he wouldn't place himself there.

His batting probably proved that, mind.

Jofra Archer is coming back. Is this Eoin Morgan wanting to end this funny business quickly?
