This is crazy, crazy cricket. This crowd has certainly got their money's worth. Hashmatullah now hits another maximum. This is now the joint most sixes ever in a World Cup match.

I don't know why everyone has gone six-mad today, it's not a small ground.
Another six! I'm sick of writing about them today. That's the 30th of the day. Afghan plants Rashid into a group of Afghanistan fans.

It was almost like a tennis shot, straight back over the bowler's head, a bit of top spin perhaps.
Hashmatullah 39, Afghan 15
Wood ends the over with another bouncer that zips past the lid. This is a good battle!

We have seen today some amazing sixes hit and that has got to go to the top of the tree. It was a bouncer to a man who has just been felled by a bouncer and he has smashed it straight down the ground, just missing the sightscreen it was so straight.
What a ridiculous shot this is!
Hashmatullah gets another bouncer from Mark Wood and steps away and pulls down the ground for six.
A weird but wonderful shot.

I remember for Somerset in about '78 it was like playing in a club game because we only had two or three helmets, it was like swapping bats.
Mark Wood is going to keep on bowling short to Hashmatullah. England have put a short leg in at the start of this over.
The first delivery is only waist-high and the left-hander flicks it down to fine leg for four.
Need 272 more runs to win
Another quick over from Rashid. Only one run comes from this one. The inevitable England win is being delayed for now.

Mark Wood has really got it right, it's not just pace it's accuracy and a great line - at the badge.
Target 398
It can't be an easy situation for the bowler Mark Wood. Does he keep bowling bouncers?
The first ball after the delay is indeed a short-ish delivery, bowled into Hashmatullah's rib cage. The ball is fended away by the left-hander.
Just three runs from the over. Another good one from Wood.
Yep. Hashmatullah is going to keep batting despite that nasty blow. He gets a good round of applause from the crowd.

He's a gutsy cricketer and he wants to stay out there - I suspect they will have to tell him to go off.
It looks like Hashmatullah wants to continue. He's having some new helmets brought to the middle which suggests he's going to carry on.

He went to duck it and didn't get low enough. It hit him on the back of the helmet, he knew he was in trouble. He might have to go off and get checked off. It was not quite a bumper, it didn't get too high.
Out come the physios from both sides.
Hashmatullah ducked into that and he got the ball flush on the back of the head as he turned away.
He has now got to his feet and the physios are doing their work.
Nasty. Very nasty.
Mark Wood has clattered a bouncer into Hashmatullah Shahidi's helmet.
Hashmatullah lies flat on the floor. Joe Root instantly has his hands on his head.
Rashid's last over was expensive but he did grab the last wicket...
Target 398
Afghan ends the over with another boundary, this time smacked down the ground for four.
Rashid goes for 12 in this over.
They haven't had much to cheer but the Afghanistan flags are being waved by their supporters in the crowd.
