Nabi has to take the single. No needs to face the first ball of the next over.
Target 225
Outside off stump, blockhole length, and through to Dhoni for no run.
DON'T GO ANYWHERE.
Mohammad Nabi pumps Bumrah into the stands.
25 to win from 21.

Nabi wouldn't have been in the frame but it was a risk Afghanistan had to take.
Target 225
Ikram Ali Khil dabs it down for a quick single to get Nabi on strike, and a throw at the stumps flies a long way off target. Nabi was struggling.
Jasprit Bumrah is bowling and poor Ikram Ali Khil only averages eight.
Dot ball.
32 runs to win.

The bowlers have been in the game here all of the time. The wicket was just what India needed. It looked like Rashid and Nabi were going to take Afghanistan to victory.
Target 225
Eight from the over, but a wicket as well.
The inexperienced Ikram Ali Khil is at the crease.

That is another brilliant bit of bowling from Chahal. It turned too sharply for Rashid.
Rashid Khan st Dhoni b Chahal 14 (Afg 190-7)
What a recovery the very next ball! Chahal turns it past the outside edge, Rashid is lured out of his ground for a cover drive and Dhoni whips the bails off. No need for a look, he was miles out.

What a brilliant piece of improvisation!
Chahal is back for his final over, but Rashid Khan reverse sweeps him to the boundary high over the inner ring!

Jadhav has saved two runs but given away one. I am not sure how that works in the fielding stats.
Target 225
Kedar Jadhav makes a hash of stopping a cut from Rashid Khan, but then redeems himself by making a great recovery to prevent two becoming four.

Dean Wallace: First England, now Afghanistan. When will these plucky but naive teams learn to handle the pressure of chasing down a low target?
Rashid Khan flat bats, tennis style, a short one outside his off stump to long on for a single. I'll look in the MCC coaching manual for that, but I might struggle to find it.

That is a brilliant shot.
That's a great shot! Nabi walks down the wicket, opens his shoulders and lifts Shami wide of mid off for a much-needed boundary.

Afghanistan have to find a way of scoring runs off Bumrah. They have two overs of him left and four other overs and I don't think that's enough to score 49 runs.
Target 225
Bumrah returns and Rashid Khan slaps a short one into the off side, but he can't find a gap.
He then pulls to mid-wicket and calls for a dodgy-looking run, but he sends Nabi back and Chahal's shy at the stumps zips just past the timbers.
