Initially this looked slightly high and slightly leg side.

Oh dear. It is a pretty ordinary attempt from Wahab. His hands and arms were not in the right position.
Hashim Amla nudges a single to get off the mark to bring Quinton de Kock on strike. He then mis-times to Wahab Riaz at mid-on who makes a complete mess of the catch and the South Africa opener survives.
Mohammad Hafeez to Hashim Amla first up......and it's a wide down leg.
Not the best of starts.
Mohammad Hafeez is going to open the bowling for Pakistan.

Pakistan get into a team huddle as South Africa openers Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla stride out on to the field.
309 the target.
Although Ngidi took the best figures for South Africa; he only forced a false shot with 7.4% of his deliveries, the next lowest was 16.7% (Tahir & Markram).
Those two wickets in the final over for Lungi Ngidi saw him finish with figures of 3-64 from nine overs.
Haris Sohail eventually departed in the final over as two wickets from Lungi Ngidi restricted the damage for South Africa.
But that only brought Haris Sohail to the crease and his 89 from just 59 balls helped push Pakistan towards 300.
Mohammad Hafeez hit a breezy 20 from 33 balls before being trapped lbw by Aiden Markram.
Imran Tahir did get a wicket eventually though. Imam ul-Haq falling for 44 with this brilliant reaction catch by Tahir off his own bowling.
So Fakhar Zaman survives. And he celebrates his lifeline by pulling the very next ball for four.
Then the first big talking point. Fakhar Zaman survives an appeal for a catch in the deep by Imran Tahir - but should it have been given out?
Let's catch up with some of the highlights so far.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Pakistan openers Imam ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman cut loose early on with some fine strokes.

A huge task then on South Africa's hands to keep their very thin hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.
Once again in this tournament, they looked flat and one-dimensional in the field, seemingly with few answers to combat the big-hitting of Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim in the last powerplay, which cost them 90 runs.
It could well have been a different day if that "catch" of Imran Tahir's that Fakhar Zaman survived on review had gone in their favour.
As it is, they will need to chase 309 against a boisterous crowd.

Bangladesh's run-chase of 322-3 against West Indies is the only successful chase of over 250 in this World Cup.

South Africa will have to get off to a good start. 300 runs, as we have seen so far this tournament, is a lot of runs to knock off. I think Pakistan will be the happier dressing room.
South Africa spinner Imran Tahir: "I thought it was going to be tough but pitch did stop a bit. I am pleased I did the job for my team and my country.
"They had a good start so I wanted to get a wicket. I am pleased I got one in my first over. My consistency was there so that was a good thing for me.
"I am not known for my caught and bowled. The coaching guys are on my back all the time saying it is not good enough. After today's catch I can go and have a word with them."
