Well, well. Imran Tahir now looks a little silly. The ball-tracking shows the ball would have bounced over leg stump.

He's not getting a lot of sympathy from the stands.

Hafeez is sweeping and it has hit him in the belly. Is it going over? He's very low. It still looks out.

  4. South Africa reviewpublished at 25 overs

A massive appeal from Imran Tahir that verges on ridiculous. He pleads, pleads and pleads again but the umpire says no.

Tahir doesn't have wait for his captain before calling for the review.

This is an incredible shot. It's a very low full toss but he managed to get underneath it with such a connection he hit it over the tall Ngidi for six.

  6. 6 runs

    Pak 133-2published at 24.5 overs

This one isn't Tahir's best. A rank full toss from Mohammad Hafeez is swept away for six. For a while it looks like deep square leg was in the game but it clears Lungi Ngidi.

That camera angle makes Tahir's catch look even better.

    Wait for the celebration...

  8. Pak 125-2published at 24 overs

    Run rate 5.21

Babar Azam has threatened to play a match-defining innings in this tournament but is yet to really do it. Will today be the day? He is well-set at 25 from 27 balls.

  9. Pak 125-2published at 23.5 overs

The volume from the stands has started to rise again with Babar Azam looking threatening.

This one isn't middled but it's four and cheered regardless. A bottom edge on a cut goes to the boundary.

A thick edge and Quinton de Kock has put it down.

Not an easy chance but it's one that De Kock would normally take.

  13. dropped catch

Hafeez dropped on 2published at 22.3 overs

Imran Tahir is down on his knees with his face on the Lord's grass. Quinton de Kock has dropped Mohammad Hafeez off his bowling behind the stumps.

It was a thick edge, not easy. The ball went into his gloves but didn't stick.

    Ahhh what a shot.

That straight drive Babar just did is one of my favourite things that happens at Lord's - it rolls down the slope in a slight curve.

  15. Pak 104-2published at 22 overs

    Babar 17, Hafeez 1

    Shot of the day. Undoubtedly.

Babar Azam follows a four through the leg side with a stunning straight drive. The ball rolls up to the old Lord's pavilion.

You couldn't get a more perfect sight.

  16. Pak 100-2published at 21.3 overs

Cheers from the Pakistan supporters as Mohammad Hafeez gets a single to get off the mark and bring up his team's hundred.

It has taken a lot longer than we thought after the start they got.

That moves him clear of Allan Donald for the most wickets by a South Africa bowler in World Cups.
