Normally when it hits on the knee roll you'd think it was going to hit. That is one that has got a bit of extra bounce.

That is no way an umpire howler.

It hit Shakib on the knee roll!

I don't think he reviewed it because he thought it was going over, more likely that he either thought he hit it or that it was worth checking because he is Bangladesh's best batsman.

    Who would be an umpire?!

    Amazing.

    Pitched in line.

    Hit in line.

Looks plumb - but the ball is bouncing over the stumps!

There must be a bit of lift on offer for the spinners in this pitch and Rashid Khan gets a lot of bounce but it's cost him here.

    No edge on it.

The only thing you can think is maybe he got some bat on it.

  7. Bangladesh reviewpublished at 17.1 overs

Huge moment. Rashid Khan turns it in to Shakib Al Hasan's pads.

    Massive appeal and given!

    Shakib reviews straight away.

If he's not hit it, he's in trouble.

Bangladesh were just starting to get the measure of this game. It is a chance for Afghanistan to get back into it because Bangladesh were setting a nice platform.

    Tamim b Nabi 36 (Ban 82-2)

    What a reply!

Having been hit for a boundary the ball before, Mohammad Nabi comes back with a flighted, slow ball that goes on with the arm and castles Tamim Iqbal.

The Bangladesh opener was going back to cut it but with uncertain footwork and ended up just slashing at it.

The left-hander misses and the ball rocks into the top of middle and off.

  11. Ban 82-1published at 16.5 overs

Nabi drops short at gentle pace and Tamim muscles it away through mid-wicket for four. Bad ball, punished.

Bangladesh are in a position to accumulate over the next 10 or 15 overs. I think 280 would be a very good score on this pitch.

  13. Ban 76-1published at 16 overs

Spicy! Rashid Khan bamboozles Tamim Iqbal with a fine googly that misses the outside edge. Big turn.
