Joel Matthews: First there was Richard, then there was Lucy (11:14)! Thank you for giving me a giggle. What a great catch by Hashmatullah. Third umpire 100% correct.

Oooh. Nabi gets some very sharp turn off the pitch but the ball ends up spinning so wide it's called a wide.
Still, promising signs for Afghanistan's spinners. The only worry is if it spins even more for Bangladesh later on.
Does anyone have any faith in James Vince? Let us know.

With Roy ruled out of Australia game, why not just open with Root, move everyone up the order and have Curran or Plunkett in his place instead of Vince? Both good bowlers and batsmen, more valuable than Vince's inevitable 26 and caught at slip.

One and twos off Gulbadin, totalling seven from the over.
And Gulbadin draws a leading edge from Shakib that chips through the gap between point and cover. Agonising for Afghanistan, that would've been the simplest of catches had it gone to a fielder.

It is important not think too much about the previous game on a pitch. It might play different. It might not spin.
Go in with a clean mindset and play each ball on its merits.

I think the ball is coming onto the bat a bit better than Saturday's game here.
Mujeeb continues into his sixth over. Tidy if not overly menacing - five from it.
Afghanistan captain Gulbadin Naib is bringing himself on.

It will be close to a full house by the afternoon. There are thousands of fans queuing outside and making their way from the train station.

A tight single turns into a breezy two as Afghanistan shy at the stumps but make a hash of the backing up to concede an overthrow.
They've kept it tight, but Afghanistan would have been hoping for more than one wicket in the first 10 overs after putting Bangladesh in.

Cracking stroke. That is a real left-hander's shot. Asghar Afghan was close but the ball went past him like a bullet.
After a run of more singles than a speed dating night, Bangladesh finally have another boundary!
Width from Nabi and you can't bowl there to Shakib! A fearsome cut shot races away for four.
Tamim 12, Shakib 4
Afghanistan have just bowled two overs in four minutes.
Handy that, making up for the 10-minute delay to the start of the match.

Another ball-bouncer catch given out. Clear that ball hit the grass. Third umpire about as reliable as VAR.
Lucy (Sunbury)
Four. Four. Gone.
Afghanistan are the polar opposite from West Indies in terms of over rate.
The spinners are racing through these overs.
And keeping it tight too.
Shakib taps and runs to point - it's a risky single and Tamim could be in trouble at the keeper's end...but the throw from Shinwari is well wide. Chance gone.
A tidy start from Nabi - just three off the over.
