I am looking forward to this. Afghanistan will want to get their three spinners into the game early.

Oooh. A bit of a wrinkle from Bangladesh - Liton Das is opening the batting with Tamim Iqbal instead of Soumya Sarkar.

Das to face off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman first up and he taps down the ground for a single.

  3. Roy out of Australia matchpublished at 10:39 British Summer Time 24 June 2019
    Breaking

England opener Jason Roy has been ruled out the World Cup match against Australia at Lord's.

Roy tore his hamstring in the defeat of West Indies on 14 June and has already missed the win over Afghanistan and defeat by Sri Lanka.

Even though scans have showed an improvement and he was able to hit balls in the nets on Monday, the Surrey man will not be able to take part in Tuesday's game.

James Vince will continue to deputise, with Roy's next target now the meeting with India at Edgbaston on Sunday.

If you're just joining us, a little bit of drizzle delayed the toss by 10 minutes, hence why play is going to start at 10:40 BST.

    The anthems are under way.

A lot of Bangladesh fans in. They've been superb in this tournament.

So it doesn't sound like England opener Jason Roy will be playing against Australia tomorrow.

    More when we get it.

Hmm. I just don't trust Afghanistan chasing. Their spinners are going to have to really restrict Bangladesh here.

I think Afghanistan are thinking 'Let's go to our strengths. Let's just get in there, get the spinners on early and see if they can scramble them out for a low score.'

This tournament hasn't worked for them because the wickets have been for seamers. Finally they've found a wicket which can help them.

  20. Toss delayed until 10:10 BSTpublished at 10:01 British Summer Time 24 June 2019
