Very few people didn't have India, Australia and England as their top three. Daniel Norcross was one of them - but he's no judge of anything.
Shaheen takes 6-35 as Bangladesh bowled out for 221 - Pakistan win by 94 runs
Shakib scores 64 - he finishes World Cup with two hundreds & five fifties from eight innings
New Zealand confirmed in last four - Pakistan needed to beat Bangladesh by at least 308 runs
Pakistan score 315-9 - Imam-ul-Haq makes 100, Babar 96; Mustafizur takes 5-75

Mohammad Amir is back.
Here's the important wicket of Liton Das from a little earlier...

Shakib is only the third man in World Cup history to achieve 600 runs in a World Cup tournament, the other two Sachin Tendulkar and Matthew Hayden.
Need 165 more runs to win
I'm no geo-political expert but there's a bit of niggle between these countries to but it mildly. The rivalry between the teams is why this still feels like a big game, even if it is a dead rubber for the World Cup. The crowd is loud. The players look up for it. Bangladesh get seven from Shaheen's latest over.

Required run-rate 8.50
The win predictor has Bangladesh at just 6%. Pakistan are definitely on top but that feels harsh to me.
20 overs left. 172 more runs to win.
The pressure builds with Pakistan buzzing around and Shadab starting with three dots.
Here goes Mahmudullah! ... He gives it a good old whack and gets four.
You could sense that coming.

Pakistan are really up for this, even though they can no longer qualify for the semi-finals. There is a vibrancy in their play out there.

Before this World Cup I completely under appreciated Shakib. A wonderful, consistent player who has really performed in the tournament. Will he be considered as one of the best ODI all rounders when he retires? Go well.

Need 177 to win from 126 balls
Shaheen Afridi now has 12 wickets in this tournament at an average of 17.58. He didn't even play in the first few games.

A man of this size mixing up his speeds as he does is very difficult, especially for a man just coming in.
Mahmudullah gets off the mark first ball with a single.

Mahmudullah is about 30 not out down there playing all sorts of shots. Let's see how he does when he actually faces a ball.
New batsman Mahmudullah practices a few shots in the middle now. He is a very good batsman. Bangladesh have more to come but they'll need the majority of the runs to come from this pair.

He likes his celebrations, Shaheen. He was stood there like the Redeemer on the top of the hill in Rio.
Liton c Haris b Shaheen 32 (Ban 136-4)
Shaheen Afridi gets a wicket with the first ball of his spell! The teenage left-arm quick has done it again for Pakistan. What a star he is becoming.
He begins with a clever cross-seamer that sticks in the pitch. Liton Das doesn't time it and the ball chips to extra cover. Gone.
Shaheen Afridi is back. He has been excellent for Pakistan in recent games.
Need 180 to win from 22 overs
The chase is on. Liton Das hits the second boundary in the over - a slog-sweep over mid-wicket. That's 11 runs from the over and will give this pair confidence.
I think we could have another really good game on our hands.
Four more to Shakib! He tickles one down the leg side off leg-spinner Shadab.

Mark: Shakib is this World Cup's postman - he always delivers.
