    A very well-compiled 117 at Lord's against Middlesex has helped edge his side ahead.

    Very interestingly poised this one. Durham have a lead of 53 runs over a battling Sussex.

    Cameron Bancroft and Alex Lees will both resume on 14 not out in the morning for the hosts.

    Almost the end of the day in the north east where there's two overs for Cameron Bancroft and Alex Lees to negotiate.

    An invaluable little partnership this that's nudged their lead up to 51 over Sussex after losing Cameron Steel just five balls into the second innings.

    The Red Rose are in block mode as Rob Jones plays out a maiden over by Toby Roland-Jones to reach the close on 55 not out.

    Dane Vilas is on 19. Lancashire have a slender lead but will have plenty of work to do tomorrow to try and seize control of this match.

    Hats off to Haseeb Hameed for his first championship century in two years this afternoon.

    Yorkshire in total control after declaring their first innings on a mammoth 554-7 and then picking up three wickets before the close.

    Hampshire know they will need 405 just to avoid the follow-on.

    The runs are flowing for both sides in Cardiff as Northants reply to the Glamorgan innings of 570-8 dec with 211-0.

    Ricardo Vasconcelos is 110 not out.

    Gloucestershire have reached stumps on day two on 202-5 against Derbyshire at Bristol and trail by 89.

    Worcestershire have had the better of it so far at Grace Road, where Leicestershire are 175-4 with Ateeq Javid and nightwatchman Chris Wright at the crease.

    They trail by 378.
