  4. Hameed leads the way for Lancashirepublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Middx 265 v Lancs 195-3

    Well played that man.

That's his first ton at this level since he reached the landmark against Yorkshire at Old Trafford in 2016.

He picked up a ton in both innings as a matter of fact - all of 66 innings ago.

Harris bowling to Jones now, who picks up four down to fine leg to move to 16.

    Over to you, Josh Davey.

    Toby Roland-Jones drops short...

Hameed pulls over backward square leg... Six! That's his century!

What a way to get there. Could this be his year? Well, it just might be.

His best effort last summer was 31 and he now has a double hundred at Loughborough and a century at Lord's against a quality attack.

    168 balls, 16 fours plus a maximum.

  8. Sibley keeps Kent at baypublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Warwks 75-2 v Kent 504-9 dec

Another fine shot from Dominic Sibley, who drives Matthew Milnes through the covers for four.

There's plenty of scoreboard pressure but it looks like a shirtfront of a pitch at the moment.

  9. Hampshire start replypublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Hampshire 0-0 v Yorkshire 554-7 dec

Hampshire finally get the chance to bat after just over five sessions in the field.

James Vince and Joe Weatherley have a potential 26 overs to negotiate before the close tonight with Ben Coad taking the new ball for Yorkshire.

  10. Sibley and Hain battle for Warwickshirepublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Shot!

Another short ball from Mitchell Claydon and Dominic Sibley pulls the ball through mid-wicket for four.

The batsmen trade singles and take nine runs off the over in total.

  11. Hameed bats on for Lancashirepublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Middx 265 v Lancs 165-3

Trail by spin at Lord's as Malan brings himself on to bowl.

Hameed is slightly off balance as he drives a wide ball through the covers for four.

Yes, he's into the 90s. But don't dwell on that.

  12. Yorkshire finally declarepublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Yorkshire 554-7 dec v Hampshire

That's it - after 164 overs, of which Liam Dawson sent down 60 of them, Yorkshire declare on 554-7.

Jack Leaning finishes not out on 77.

  13. Wells the ballast for scrapping Sussexpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Durham 224 v Sussex 181-9

    Adrian Harms
    Sports reporter, BBC Sussex

Having at one stage been 71-7, Sussex have recovered to 181-9, almost entirely due to Luke Wells (83 not out).

Wells added 48 for the eighth wicket with Chris Jordan, and then 40 for the ninth wicket with Ollie Robinson.

The tall left-hander should have been run out on 8 and caught in the slips on 12, but put those lapses behind him to haul Sussex back into this game.

  14. wicket

WICKET Bartlett b Fletcher 133published at 16:23 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Notts 263 v Somerset 316-6

    Double breakthrough for Notts!

A rare error of judgement from George Bartlett who opts to leave a Luke Fletcher delivery which flattens his off stump.

Fine innings from the Somerset batsman overall, who will surely get a decent run in the side.

I wonder what the Notts players had for tea.

Craig Overton is next to bat.

  15. wicket

WICKET Tattersall c Vince b Dawson 52published at 16:23 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Yorkshire 540-7 v Hampshire

Yorkshire bat on for a sixth session, but it seems they're trying to get a few more quick runs before a declaration.

Jonny Tattersall falls shortly after making a half-century to give Liam Dawson a third wicket of his very, very long sting with the ball.

  16. Final session starts at Lord'spublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Middx 265 v Lancs 155-3

The umpires are back in the middle.

This has already been far and away Hameed's best championship innings in over a year, but can he push on and score a so-called daddy hundred?

He has 81 and Rob Jones joins him unbeaten on one.

  17. wicket

WICKET Davies c Moores b Ball 22published at 16:17 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Notts 263 v Somerset 310-5 lead by 47

    Dream start for Notts...

Steven Davies edges the second ball of the session to the keeper and Notts have a foothold.

Lewis Gregory, a Notts tormentor-in-chief with the ball yesterday, now has a job to do with the bat.

  18. Play resumes at Edgbastonpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Warwks 53-2 v Kent 504-9 dec

The pressure is on for Dominic Sibley and Sam Hain as the Warwickshire pair face a yawning deficit of 451.

  19. Final session begins at Trent Bridgepublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Notts 263 v Somerset 309-4

A fine innings by George Bartlett, who has 128 to his name as he resumes with Steven Davies on 22.

The lead is 46 and Jake Ball is the first bowler called on to try and take control of the session.

  20. Wicket on the stroke of Tea at The Ovalpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Surrey 395 v Essex 168-4

    Rishi PatelImage source, Rex Features

Huge shame for Essex and Rishi Patel on the stroke of tea at The Oval as he falls for a very eye-catching 31 off just 25 balls.

Tom Curran again takes the wicket as Rikki Clarke hangs on at first slip.

Essex now 168-4 and still 227 behind the champions. Honours probably even in that session.
