    Middx 265 v Lancs 152-3 - trail by 113

Tim Murtagh has done it again!

More movement in evidence, but more off the inside edge of the bat of Glenn Maxwell as he leaves a gap between bat and pad, miscues a drive and edges the ball into his stumps.

    Rob Jones to bat next.

Brooke Guest is on his way to the pavilion.

Glenn Maxwell is the new batsman.

  13. Dawson reaches a milestonepublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Yorkshire 524-6 v Hampshire

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Liam Dawson has just become the bowler who has bowled the most overs in a single innings here at the Ageas Bowl.

Currently, he has the figures of 56-4-166-2.

He beats the previous holder of the record, off-spinner Shaun Udal, who back in 2001, the first season on this ground, bowled 55 overs against Sussex and claimed 2-167 with eight maidens

  14. Somerset pass 300 at Trent Bridgepublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Notts 263 v Somerset 300-4

Steve Davies is settling in nicely here and drives Luke Fletcher through the covers for a single.

That's 300 for the visitors and still six wickets in hand.

  15. Little joy for bowlers in the Principalitypublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Glamorgan 570-8 dec v Northamptonshire 87-0

    Alex Winter
    BBC Radio Northampton sport

It's a true sporting hub Sophia Gardens.

Behind the cricket ground sit a hockey pitch, football pitch and tennis courts.

To the side, the Welsh Institute of Sport - home of top-level netball among other events - and a bowls club. Rowing clubs use the River Taff.

And probably just as well. Because spectators here will be looking elsewhere for their entertainment. There is nothing at all on offer for the bowlers on this wicket and batting has been so straightforward.

But with a weight of runs on the board, it will take some time for Northants to move into safe waters.

At the very least, Glamorgan will hope to contain the visitors and prevent a rush towards the follow-on mark of 421.

  16. Hameed and Guest take Red Rose past 150published at 15:34 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Middx 265 v Lancs 150-1

Hameed is playing the short balls well and is up on his toes to tack Steven Finn away to square leg for one to go to 78.

Guest pushes another short one to backward point to take his team to 150. He's on 17 now.

    Good batting from the visitors.
