And another day reaches its conclusion in the County Championship.

A day where Somerset completed a big win to make it two from two at the start of the campaign and a few other sides moved themselves into winning positions.

They may include Lancashire at Lord's against Middlesex thanks to Rob Jones' century earlier in the day - looks like he enjoyed the moment too.

Here's the place to read all about the day's events in the county game.

That's the image we'll round up today on.

But don't forget, we'll be back for the last day in this round from 10:45 BST on Sunday.

    See you then...

So, we're all done for the day.

Stand by for the close of play scoreboards....

  4. Close of play at Lord'spublished at 19:04 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Middx 265 & 68-2 v Lancs 427 - trail by 94

Middlesex have a mighty task ahead of them to save this game after the late wicket of Stevie Eskinazi in the evening session left them two down for 68 and 94 in arrears.

Sam Robson (41*) resumes the rearguard tomorrow with nightwatchman James Harris.

  5. Close of play at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Durham 224 & 189 v Sussex 202 & 144-3 (target 212)

A crucial contribution from Luke Wells in both Sussex innings (98 not out and 41) has helped Sussex gain a strong foothold in this match and Stiaan Van Zyl (66*) will return to the crease tomorrow with Laurie Evans, who has 21, within sight of victory.

Two games still going in Division Two in their final throes of Day three...

We'll bring you the news from stumps in both shortly.

  7. Close of play at The Ovalpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Surrey 395 & 68-0 v Essex 448

And that is indeed that for the day at The Oval...

  8. Close of play at Ageas Bowlpublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Yorkshire 554-7 dec v Hampshire 302 & 54-5 (f/o)

Joe Root has another twirl with his spin for Yorkshire as the shadows lengthen.

Liam Dawson and Rilee Rossouw stand firm and see their side to stumps.

It's been another tough day for them and Yorkshire are in total command in this one.

They need just five more wickets tomorrow to complete a bit innings-win with Hampshire still 198 runs behind.

  9. Bad light stops play at The Ovalpublished at 18:45 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Surrey 395 & 68-0 v Essex 448

That looks like it might be that for day three as the players come off for bad light.

We've still got four overs and a bit of change scheduled for the day, but I would imagine we're done for.

Surrey with a lead of 15 runs as things stand.

  10. Burns and Stoneman stand firmpublished at 18:42 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Surrey 395 & 67-0 v Essex 448

Surrey now 14 ahead of Essex thanks to Rory Burns and Mark Stoneman negotiating these 28 overs or so without too much worry.

Will be hard for either side to force a win on the last day you feel.

  11. Close of play at Edgbastonpublished at 18:27 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Warwks 346 & 79-4 (f/o) v Kent 504-9 dec - trail by 79

Huge shout for an lbw against Hain off the bowling of Milnes but the umpire says no. A bit too high?

Adam Riley to bowl the last over of the day. Ambrose pushes to the off side for three and hands the strike back to Hain.

Riley is wide of the off stump and that's carefully padded away. That's stumps.

With a gap of 79 and four wickets down there's still plenty of pressure on the hosts but they still have enough batting left for a feasible rearguard tomorrow.

Hain is 34 not out and Ambrose is unbeaten on 17 in an innings where he passed 11,000 career runs.

WICKET Abbott lbw b Waite 5published at 18:24 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Yorkshire 554-7 dec v Hampshire 302 & 41-5 dec

Make that 4-18 that Hampshire have lost now as nightwatchman Kyle Abbott is dismissed leg before by Matthew Waite.

In fact, they've lost all five of these second-innings wickets for 19 runs now.

Still just over five overs remaining in the day's allocation but Yorkshire might fancy taking the extra half hour.

  13. Rock solid from Hainpublished at 18:18 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Warwks 346 & 69-4 (f/o) v Kent 504-9 dec - trail by 89

Sam Hain is forward and across to jab down on the ball as Adam Riley continues around the wicket.

Plenty of "oohs" and "ahs" in the field.

Still six wickets in hand and now just a couple of overs to go tonight.

  14. Surrey draw levelpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Surrey 395 & 53-0 v Essex 448

Surrey back on level terms now as Rory Burns (25 not out) and Mark Stoneman (28 not out) steer them to another 50 partnership.

Burns survives a big leg before shout against Simon Harmer just before that though, but there's been little for the bowlers in terms of chances since this innings began.

  15. Hain and Ambrose bid to see Bears through to stumpspublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Warwks 346 & 69-4 (f/o) v Kent 504-9 dec - trail by 89

A bit of width from Milnes and that's four through the covers for Tim Ambrose.

It's been hard work for the bowlers and we've seen a few tired freebies in the last few minutes.

Ooh! A play and miss outside off by Milnes and that's a fingernail away from the edge of the bat.

He blocks the last ball and shouts out a clear "no" to Sam Hain.

    Three overs left.

WICKET Markram c Tattersall b Waite 7published at 18:13 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Yorkshire 554-7 dec v Hampshire 302 & 31-4 (f/o)

    Another one down for Hampshire!

Matthew Waite in the wickets now for Yorkshire as he dismisses Aiden Markram with a caught behind.

Hampshire have lost 3-8 in the space of three overs now.

  17. Burns survives a chop onpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Surrey 395 & 43-0 v Essex 448

Rory Burns almost comes a cropper from one he accidentally drops back on to his own stumps.

Has to pull off a bit of a balancing act to stop the ball rolling back on to the timbers.

  18. Trial by spin at Edgbastonpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Warwks 346 & 65-4 (f/o) v Kent 504-9 dec - trail by 93

Adam Riley bowls round the wicket for his first over in this innings and Sam Hain is well forward to defend.

Shot! Riley fires in a full toss and Hain crunches the ball through cover for four.

He blocks the last ball off the back foot and we have four overs left.

  19. wicket

    WICKET Northeast c Kohler-Cadmore b Patterson 0published at 18:07 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Yorkshire 554-7 dec v Hampshire 302 & 29-3 (f/o)

The Tom Kohler-Cadmore - Steven Patterson combination does the trick for Yorkshire again.

Sam Northeast is dismissed for a duck and Hampshire are in all sorts of strife now.

Lovely ball once more from Patterson finds the outside edge and Kohler-Cadmore takes the simple catch at first slip.

  20. In Division Two...published at 18:05 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Here's the state of play:

Middlesex have got off to a disappointing start in their second innings at Lord's where Jimmy Anderson removed Nick Gubbins in the first over to leave the hosts 0-1. Sam Robson and Stevie Eskinazi have taken the score to 16-1.

The home side are now 146 behind Lancashire.

Sussex have recovered to 87-2 in their run chase at Chester-le-Street after losing openers Philip Salt and Tom Haines within the first eight overs.

They need another 125 to beat Durham.

Leicestershire are 122-3 against Worcestershire at Grace Road and trail the visitors by 129.

Gloucestershire lead Derbyshire by 23 runs at Bristo,l where the visitors are 82-2.

A few eyebrows have been raised in Cardiff, where Northants ended day three 522-4 and just 48 runs behind Glamorgan.

There have been five centurions in the match to date.
