Yorkshire 232 v Notts 179-8
The covers are on at Scarborough with Tom Moores just two runs short of his half-century and Luke Fletcher yet to get off the mark.
Notts trailing by 53.
Lancashire's Keaton Jennings has missed out on a century at Colwyn Bay, falling lbw to Graham Wagg for 86. The visitors are 246-5 after 71 overs, leading Glamorgan by 11.
Gloucestershire have lost their fourth wicket at Derby, with Tom Smith bowled by Matt Critchley for 32. Chris Dent is still there, though, on 60 not out and they are 143-4, needing 57 more for a first-innings lead.
Durham are piling on the agony against Leicestershire, progressing to 521-8 with Ned Eckersley 56 not out and Brydon Carse on 39. These two have added 72 so far.
Ollie Robinson has gone for 37 at Hove, caught and bowled by Nathan Sowter, but Sussex are 278-8, with Will Beer on 65, a lead over Middlesex of 203.
Northants v Worcestershire - see 14:27 entry.
Worcs 186 v Northants 294-5
South African Dwaine Pretorius marks his County Championship debut with a hundred as a single off Joe Leach carries him to three figures from 136 balls faced.
The Northants all-rounder has two sixes and 14 fours so far, but Worcestershire have at least disposed of Adam Rossington, who was bowled by Leach for one.
The Northamptonshire lead is 108.

Yorkshire 232 v Notts 174-8
Luke Wood can't repeat yesterday's bowling heroics with the bat as he falls for six from 25 balls.
Disappointment is etched all over his face as he plays at a Ben Coad delivery and it finds the edge to Adam Lyth at second slip for a soft dismissal.
Luke Fletcher is now partnering the explosive Tom Moores who has 43 from 46 deliveries.
Notts are still 58 runs behind Yorkshire under increasingly dark skies overhead.
Warwicks 404-9 v Somerset
It's been hard work for Somerset, but their stint in the field is almost at an end after Jeetan Patel gives James Hildreth catching practice at first slip.
The Warwickshire skipper was presumably trying to steer the ball down to third man but his angles were awry.
Debutant George Garrett is Warwickshire's number 11.

Kent 226 v Essex
Essex take the new ball and Sam Cook only needs four deliveries to bring Kent's first innings to an end as Mitch Claydon drills a catch to Tom Westley at mid-off.
Harry Podmore is left unbeaten on 54 as Cook finishes with 5-42, the fourth time he has taken five or more wickets in a first-class innings.
Team-mate Mohammad Amir misses out on a 'five-for', but figures of 4-48 from 23 overs are still excellent.
What can Essex do now with the bat?
Warwicks 404-8 v Somerset
Emboldened by reaching his half-century, Michael Burgess attempts a big drive off Craig Overton and inside edges into his stumps, having hit nine fours in his 58-ball knock.
Jeetan Patel is 25 not out as he is joined by Oliver Hannon-Dalby.
Hampshire 327-8 v Surrey
This game has been held-up on several occasions over the past two days due to rain and there is another lengthy stoppage on the cards here.
That unwelcome duo thunder and lightning have decided to join the party too and there'll be an inspection at 3pm.

Warwicks 402-7 v Somerset
After a leg bye takes the Warwickshire total to 400, Michael Burgess helps himself to two runs off Jamie Overton to bring up a 55-ball fifty.
It has been an assertive knock by the former Sussex player and he has added 64 so far with skipper Jeetan Patel.
Yorkshire 232 v Notts 160-7
Out of the ground!
Moores is playing like a man in a hurry as he dispatches two Maharaj balls for six.
The first is huge and clears the stadium, while the second, a touch straighter, is caught in the crowd.
The wicket-keeper has hit three sixes in this innings as Notts look to reduce the deficit.
Kent 223-9 v Essex
Harry Podmore pulls away a short delivery from Simon Harmer for his eighth four to bring up the third first-class fifty of his career from 65 balls.
That was a bit of a freebie for the Kent tailender and off-spinner Harmer has not been at his best on this particular surface.
There are two overs to go to the new ball after this one.
Worcs 186 v Northants 269-4
Alex Wakely's innings comes to an end in disappointing fashion at Wantage Road as he offers no stroke to a ball by Wayne Parnell and has his off stump knocked out of the ground.
The right-hander batted for 299 minutes, faced 256 deliveries and hit a six and nine fours.
Parnell now has 3-41, but fellow South African Dwaine Pretorius is still there on 78 not out.
Warwicks 390-7 v Somerset
We are back under way at Edgbaston and Jeetan Patel clips Craig Overton away through mid-wicket for four to post a half-century partnership with Michael Burgess.
The New Zealander is 18 not out, with Burgess just four runs short of 50.

Yorkshire 232 v Notts 136-7
Paul Coughlin takes the battle to Maharaj and goes for the big shot...bad decision.
He gets completely under the ball and sends it high into Scarborough sky where the players watch on as a backpedalling Harry Brook takes the catch.
Coughlin departs shortly after lunch without troubling the scorer and with his team still 96 runs behind.
Hampshire 327-8 v Surrey
A delay due to rain in Surrey too.
What a frustrating start to the afternoon.
Kent 217-9 v Essex
Oh this is very annoying.
Eleven balls bowled after lunch and the players are off again at the Spitfire Ground.
Kent's Harry Podmore is 47 not out, and Mitchell Claydon is on seven.
Meanwhile, here's the latest UK forecast from BBC Weather's Susan Powell.

Kent 216-9 v Essex
Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara completes the over left unfinished before lunch at Canterbury and Harry Podmore edges the final delivery past slip for four to progress to 47 not out. He's only made two first-class fifties - can he complete a third?
Durham 480-8 v Leicestershire
The sporadic rain showers across the country arrive at the Emirates Riverside halting play and Durham's continued progress, for now.
England name an unchanged squad for the third Ashes Test against Australia, which starts on Thursday at Headingley.
