    New Zealand captain Kane Williamson: "We'd have had a bowl as well. A few unknowns, I guess. It's not what you often see at Hamilton.

    "Matt Henry comes in for Trent - he'll come in and take the new ball. He's been around the group for the long time. It's an exciting opportunity for him."

    It's probably a good decision. The grass on the pitch will help it carry through, but I don't expect much lateral movement. The scores tend to generally start quite low and then improve in New Zealand. I expect a good and tough day's Test cricket.

    This, incidentally, will be the sixth time Ollie Pope has kept wicket in a first-class match.
