    Agreed.

In fact, in addition to that, there shall be no moaning about how long England bat on for. There's ages left in this match. They can get 1,000 as far as I am concerned.

Anyone found complaining will have to serve a one-day ban from the live text.

We can block you, you know...

Re: the follow on. Please can we all just agree to go with whatever decision Joe Root makes rather than spend the next five hours debating the what-ifs by way of non-cricket analogies?! (love the bants by the by!) Thanks in advance and toodles.

We’ve had more lunchtime skydivers, including one who landed on the pitch. I wonder if he’ll get a warning and a threat of being taken out of the attack.

    Many thanks, Kal.

A good morning for England in the end. Now they will almost certainly grind South Africa into the dirt.

Here's Stephan Shemilt (not sat here in a jacuzzi) to see you through until tea.

Cor, that is some stat. Mark Wood may be a joker off the field but he's no joke on it. He's a cricketer who is oozing with confidence at the moment.

And that will be lunch. South Africa were going along fairly nicely with De Kock and Pretorius before those late wickets. England's session, again.

Will they enforce the follow-on? I don't think so, but you never know.

Wood has bowled at tremendous pace. He is such a popular man and is getting lots of hugs from his team-mates. Root has waved towards the groundsman, asking for a roller, which suggests England will bat again.

Paterson c Buttler b Wood 4 (SA 183 all out)

And it's a five-wicket-haul for Wood. He aims for that off stump again, Paterson has a huge swing and edges it straight into Buttler's mitts.

    Outstanding.

    Hendricks 5, Paterson 0

Watching the replays of that Wood's delivery, it really was a stunner. It nipped off the seam, whilst also doing De Kock for pace. Those injuries haven't affected his speed.

Beuran Hendricks with an outside edge for four off Stokes. That was due to be the last over before lunch but, with one wicket remaining, we continue.

You have to be impressed by the way Wood has come back from injuries a number of times. England have stuck with him and his numbers since coming off the longer run-up are phenomenal.

That's a quick ball. It went through at quite a pace. A beautiful delivery between bat and pad. The question of the follow-on will be raised, but I'm pretty certain England will bat again.

    De Kock b Wood 76 (SA 174-9)

Ooof! What a delivery by Mark Wood. That was ridiculously quick and De Kock's innings comes to an end.

It was sent down at 90mph, through the gap between bat and pad and smashes into the bails. In fact, it smashes the bail in half.

Wood is pumped. England are ecstatic.

Stokes makes things happen. We have to give Pretorius credit for his innings. He played very straight. It was a lovely catch by Crawley.

    Pretorius c Crawley b Stokes 37 (172-8)

It's that man again. When England need a breakthrough, Ben Stokes strikes.

After conceding a couple of boundaries to De Kock, one a leading edge which ballooned down to third man, a single brings Pretorius on strike.

Stokes angles the ball in and Pretorius edges it to Zak Crawley in gully who takes a fine catch.

I'd be surprised if Joe Root doesn't have one or two overs before the break. It will probably be from Woakes' end because Stokes is building up a nice head of steam.

    De Kock 65, Pretorius 37

Hmmm, depends Nik. How much of a pay increase do you get with the paper round?

Stokes with a tight line to Pretorius with the slightest bit of movement away off the bounce. It whistles past the outside edge of the bat and into Buttler's gloves. Stokes is convinced that Pretorius nicked it but Root, nor any of the other England fielders, heard anything.

Pretorius responds with a punch down to long-on for four.
