Ben Howard: That's an absolute pearler from Mahmood! Beautiful length, seam presentation, pace and movement. I like what I see!
Seek out replays of that wicket. It's gorgeous and gets better on repeat viewing.
Easily one of my favourite wickets in recent international cricket.
Tremendous execution and unique in the way it just gently rocked the bail off on its way through to Jonny Bairstow.
Take a bow, Saqib Mahmood.

Hendricks b Mahmood 11 (SA 23-1)
This. Is an absolute peach. What a first ODI wicket to get.
Saqib Mahmood gets it to come back a touch, through the gap between bat and pad and just kiss the top of the bail.
For a moment it's not clear what's happened, the contact was so slight, but Reeza Hendricks is on his way.
Dreamy bowling.

Impressive start from England's opening bowlers. Their lines have been good, South Africa have looked to play each ball on its merits and not improvise.
It does look like a pitch Chris Woakes would enjoy bowling on but Tom Curran and Saqib Mahmood are doing a very fine job so far.
Curran continues to pose all sorts of problems for Quinton de Kock.

Sorry, just a quick one - why is Woakes not playing???
Dave Perrins
Lovely stuff from Saqib Mahmood, keeping a tight line but mixing up his lengths well and bowling at good pace.
That's his first ODI maiden over.

Chris Skerritt: The obvious nickname for Tom Banton is Pato
Curran 3-1-10-0
Quinton de Kock punches down the ground and Moeen Ali scoots after it, slides and in one movement bats the ball up to Eoin Morgan to throw in. Neat.
But Morgan's throw is off line and De Kock can scamper back for a third.
De Kock 5, Hendricks 5
Tidy over from Saqib Mahmood, finding seam movement to keep the South Africa openers honest.
Just two from it.

Thomas Measures: Seriously England. What was the point in bring Matt Parkinson on these tours this winter? Would have done better with a BBL contract and going on the Lions tour. They seem to be experts in destroying talented young spinners.
Tom Curran didn't just have his favourite wheat-based breakfast cereal this morning - he had the chocolate one.
More superb deliveries that test Quinton de Kock in and around off stump.
Ah, then De Kock offers a reminder of his class, punching through point for four when Curran finally offers some width,
We have our winners.
Mason Crane is yet to play ODI cricket for England of course.

Rachel T: Sam ‘Dash from The Incredibles’ Curran and Mason Crane?
Katie: Sam Curran and Mason Crane?
Tasty. Mahmood follows that up with a quick ball that leaps up at Hendricks and the South African does well to play it down in the end.
Saqib Mahmood starts well but is soon greeted by one of Reeza Hendricks' beautiful drives.
Terrific poise from the South Africa opener to punch it square in front of point for four.
Saqib Mahmood, here receiving a bear hug from Darren Gough, is on for his first bowl in ODI cricket.
Not Tom 'Bants' Banton.
There's got to be a better nickname we can give England to give him.
