West Indies should consider opening with Shemaine Campbelle to get their strike rotation going earlier.
Taylor 24, Campbelle 14
Pakistan turn to their sixth bowler - Aliya Riaz, on with some gentle right-arm medium pace. Campbelle at least shows some aggression, lofting the bowler over her head, but they can only manage ones and twos.
Here's how it all ended for the dangerous Deandra Dottin...
It's slipping towards twilight in Canberra. Taylor takes a fresh guard as her opposite number Bismah Maroof comes on to bowl some slow, loopy leg-spin - so we have spinners wearing caps bowling at both ends.
But apart from cutting the first ball for four, Taylor has trouble getting her away, with no pace to work with. The Windies have belatedly brought up 50 - they're well behind where you'd expect them to be.

The run rate is not good enough for this ground though.
Tayor 18 (28 balls), Campbelle 7 (10)
Left-arm, round-arm, cap-wearing spinner Anam Amin in for her third over, West Indies are still struggling to force the pace.
Stafanie Taylor in particular seems to be playing within herself, we know how destructive she can be.

West Indies are just starting to rotate the strike a bit more.
Here's some of the highlights of the innings so far:
Shemaine Campbelle has joined Taylor at the wicket - but you've not really missed much otherwise.
We're now in the 9th over - Campbelle cuts a four backward of point. She has six from nine balls, Taylor moves on to 14 from 23 with a single.
Thanks for your patience. Normal service has been resumed as soon as possible.
Dottin c Iram b Nida 1 (WI 28-3)
Dottin tries to flay Nida Dar down the ground – and picks out the fielder at long-on, who didn’t have to move! Big wicket.
Apologies - we've had a few technical problems here.
This is the main thing you've missed...
Here's that sweetly struck four by Stafanie Taylor...
Dottin swings and misses again. Strike two. The keeper even underarms the ball at the stumps, but Dottin hadn't left her crease.
A single from Taylor brings the steely-eyed Dottin - who was sorely missed by West Indies on their tour of England last summer - on strike for the first time.
Hearts in mouths as she swings at her first ball... at thin air.

If Pakistan can beat West Indies, it opens this group right up.
In at number four is the player we always seem to refer to as "the dangerous Deandra Dottin". When on song, she's one of the most devastating hitters in the women's game. Meanwhile, the umpire wants to check the thickness of Taylor's bat.

Kirby tried to go over the covers again but skewed it straight up in the air.
Kirby c Muneeba b Diana 16 (WI 25-2)
It's all over for Kirby - she attempts another big heave but it skies over point where the bespectacled Muneeba Ali takes an assured catch!
Kirby whacks her second and third fours of the afternoon - one through extra cover, one chipped over the ring of cover fielders.
A single means she has 16 from 10 balls, Taylor has a more sedate eight from 13.
