West Indies, rather like their men's T20 team, are the sort of side that on any given day are capable of beating any side - or losing to any side.

If you want a quick look at their recent form, here's how - like England - they survived an early scare to beat Thailand:

They're playing on the same pitch as England and Thailand - and as Heather Knight demonstrated, plenty of runs in it.

  3. Captain's viewpublished at 07:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof: "We would have batted first. We'd like to restrict them to under 120. We have beaten them before, so we have a lot of confidence. We're all really excited for the match."

  4. Captain's viewpublished at 07:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor: "We are going to have a bat because we spoke as a unit and wanted to put some runs on the board and defend it.

"We spoke about rotating the strike, the dot ball percentage was a bit high against Thailand.

"We have made one change - Shakera Selman comes in for Aaliyah Alleyne."

A very professional performance by England to secure an expected. but still dominant, win over Thailand.

After losing openers Amy Jones and Danni Wyatt for ducks, Nat Sciver and Heather Knight had plenty to do.

And they did it in fine style - especially Knight, leading from the front.

A sublime unbeaten 108 - enjoy some of the highlights of her knock below...

More from England skipper Heather Knight: "I don't often score quicker than Nat Sciver so it was nice to today.

"You want to keep your standards up even though you know you've won the game but we did that. It was all about getting the job done today.

"Every game is a must-win game for us now. It's nice to get on the board but we need to keep putting on strong performances."

Thailand captain Sornnarin Tippoch: "It was a challenging game for us. We weren't under real pressure but we tried to do our best on the field.

"We are always trying to improve our batting and work on the aggressive part of our game."

More from England captain Heather Knight on TMS: "It was really important we put on a big performance and bounced back quickly, it wasn't ideal losing those two wickets early but we stayed calm, and maximised that partnership. We seem to like playing at Canberra.

On becoming the first England player to score a century in Test, ODI and T20 internationals: "T20 isn't my most natural form of the game, so it's a great stat."

England were sharp in the field today...

England captain Heather Knight: "We were obviously gutted after the performance the other day so it was important to bounce back here, which we did.

"I seem to like batting here so it was great to contribute.

We just tried to keep it simple, we had lots of opportunities to score so it was just about building the partnership, not panicking and knowing we could pick up the rate at the end."

So that's job done by England to get back on track after that opening defeat by South Africa.

Victory by 98 runs will provide a welcome boost to the net run rate.

A fine century from skipper Heather Knight and a second consecutive 50 for Nat Sciver to boost the batting before a solid bowling and fielding display.

It was a difficult catch for Winfield, as the light's just changing and the shadows coming across the wicket. The main part of her game at the moment is contributing in the field, as she's batting at eight.
