    Dottin c Sciver b Ecclestone 9 (WI 12-1)

And the match-up of Sophie Ecclestone to Deandra Dottin works!

The slow left-armer flights it up and Dottin bends to slap it into the leg side.

But it's not a controlled sweep along the ground nor a big heave over the in-field and as a result she just flat-bats it to Nat Sciver at short mid-wicket.

Huge wicket for England. Dangerwoman Dottin is gone.

Ecclestone on - I wonder whether this is a bit of a match-up with Dottin.

The important thing for West Indies is that they've not lost a wicket. Sensible batting so far.

  5. WI 9-0published at 2 overs

    Target 144

Dottin flicks it through square leg and scampers two.

A similar shot last up but it goes quicker to the deep fielder so that's just one.

  6. WI 6-0published at 1.4 overs

But that's loose from Brunt - short and wide and Dottin cracks it through the covers for four.

  7. WI 2-0published at 1.3 overs

Katherine Brunt starts with three dot balls in a row as Deandra Dottin can't connect.

What an opening combination Shrubsole and Brunt have been for England. You wouldn't want to be opening the batting against them, there's no respite at the other end.

England's big guns opening together again - Katherine Brunt to bowl the second over.

  10. WI 2-0published at 1 over

    Target 144

Excellent first over by Shrubsole - just two from it.

She was two yards out if that had hit.

  12. WI 1-0published at 0.4 overs

Hayley Matthews pushes into the the off side and sets off for a sharp single.

Fran Wilson gathers and throws but misses the stumps. Deandra Dottin would've been gone with a direct hit.

  13. WI 0-0published at 0.1 overs

Anya Shrubsole starts superbly, tailing it in and narrowly missing the outside edge of Hayley Matthews' bat.

West Indies have nothing to lose in some respects. It's a total you have to go after.

England complete their huddle and take their fielding positions.

Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin will open the batting for West Indies.

We get these team sheets delivered at the start of the game by the ICC - all signed by the team managers. They include the batting order - and on today's sheet, it says Stafanie Taylor and Deandra Dottin would be opening, which is a shift from the last game where it was Hayley Matthews and Lee-Ann Kirby. But if Dottin gets going, there's not a ground that can contain her.

The first six overs will be really key.

If Deandra Dottin opens the batting and starts firing early, England will be under immense pressure.

One or two dangerous batters back in the hutch early and West Indies may struggle to keep up with the required run rate.

That's a fairly competitive score, we all know the strength of the English bowlers. West Indies are going to have to bat out of their skin.

The decision to move Tammy Beaumont up to open didn't work out today.

Amy Jones coming in at six instead certainly did...
