It is all set up for a cracking final two days. West Indies have to be big favourites but England can still win this.

My colleague Stephan Shemilt says England are under huge pressure. More from him here.

Scroll down for video clips and reaction or turn on BBC Two (or click play above) for the full hour-long highlights.

We'll be back tomorrow for day four.

  2. 'We have a lot of work to do'published at 19:21 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

England bowler James Anderson speaking to TMS: "We're certainly behind at the moment, we have a lot of work to do to get back into the game.

"We have to bat the whole day tomorrow and get a decent lead to give us any chance of winning the game.

"I thought we bowled well in patches but not our best overall best as a unit. You can expect some rustiness first game back but we didn't put enough pressure on them for long enough during the day."

On Stuart Broad's frustration at being dropped: "It is to be expected. It's great that a guy of his age and experience is showing signs of frustration at being left out. It shows he's hungry to still play. But it also shows our depth in bowling. I'm sure over the course of the next Tests there will be a few guys disappointed".

  3. 'A little bit frustrating'published at 19:20 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

More from Dom Bess the day as a whole: “I thought at times we created chances. With Jofra a couple went over the slips, they played and missed quite a bit, but that’s cricket the big thing for us was to just stuck in and control the rate.

"I thought after lunch myself and Jimmy had that real focus and as we went the wickets started coming. It was a little bit frustrating but hopefully it will be good weather tomorrow, we’ve got our openers in and a very good batting line up, and we can dig ourselves in.”

  4. 'It was crucial not to lose a wicket'published at 19:18 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

England spinner Dom Bess talking to Sky Sports: “I was more relieved [when asked about England not losing a wicket tonight] because I knew I was night watchman. Denners had a smile on his face when he knew it was me coming in. I think it’s massive because the lads that are in now can score big runs, we’re behind a little bit, it is crucial not to lose a wicket at that time.”

On how he ended up being night watchman: “I looked at James Anderson and got nothing back. I looked at Woody and he just smiled. It’s my time isn’t it. I quite enjoy it to be fair, if you get in you can score some runs.”

Dom Bess is the England player speaking to the media tonight. He was impressive today with two wickets on a pitch that wasn't particularly helpful to his spin.

I'm delighted to see Stuart Broad give that interview today. Sometimes I get concerned when senior players get dropped and don't seem hurt. Well he is definitely hurt by the decision.

Ben Stokes was England's most successful bowler with four wickets. The captaincy doesn't seem to be affecting his bowling.

  8. 'Someone should be able to get a score on this pitch'published at 19:11 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

West Indies have been excellent throughout the Test match. The have shown great skill, discipline and nice partnerships. Dowrich was great when he came out and counter-punched. I was impressed by Chase as well.

England will have to bat all of tomorrow and probably a bit on the fifth day to get a result.

I don't think there are huge amounts of gremlins on this surface so someone from the line up should be able to get a big score.

  9. Postpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

As I said earlier, West Indies' batting has been the big question mark going into this series. Would they be able to stand firm?

    Well they certainly did today.

There were contributions all of the way down the order from Kraigg Brathwaite, Shai Hope, Shamarh Brooks, Roston Chase and Shane Dowrich.

    Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BBC Test Match Special

West Indies will be very pleased. The batters got in, showed discipline, stuck it out in the difficult periods. Everyone got in and got a good start.

That was proper Test cricket in the final 40 minutes. Sibley and Burns have done a good job for England.

At least England's openers hung on there, it wasn't comfortable. A lot of beating of the bat and a couple of tight leaves.

  15. Close of play - Eng 15-0published at 19:03 British Summer Time 10 July 2020

Dominic Sibley and Rory Burns have made it to the close. Ben Stokes appears on the balcony to applaud his openers. They've done well because that could have gone very wrong in that mini-session.

    Still, it's West Indies' day.

  16. Eng 14-0published at 9.5 overs

Holder won't be happy with that. He gives Dominic Sibley a freebie off the hip and the opener adds a couple.

There's one more ball in the day for England to survive...

  17. Eng 12-0published at 9.3 overs

Another tight leave from Sibley. They don't make it easy for us do they?

You've got to say well batted though, despite all of the chirp from the slips.

  18. Eng 12-0published at 9.1 overs

Excellent 'experience' from Rory Burns. A single. Good luck, Dom.

  19. Eng 11-0published at 9 overs

There'll be one more over. Sibley sensibly leaves Roach well alone.

He'll be sitting on his bat at the non-striker's end I'm sure. Over to you, Rory.

  20. WI 11-0published at 8.3 overs

Sibley does a bit of gardening mid-over. He'd love to ensure this is the last one before the close but I don't think so.
