    Burns 9, Sibley 2

Solid defence from Burns to Holder. The West Indies captain didn't quite find the magic of the first innings.

He might get one more over tonight.

  2. WI 11-0published at 7.4 overs

Dom Bess, who wouldn't look out of place in a boy band with his closely shaven sides and messy top, has an arm guard on in the dressing room.

It looks like he will be the nightwatchman. Pretty sure he'll be quite happy for these seven minutes to fly by.

That's some serious company Stokes is in. Some of the absolute greats.

Stokes was second fastest to the milestone too.

    Here's Jason Holder...

Ben Stokes took his 150th Test wicket earlier and has scored over 4,000 runs as well.

Only five other players have achieved that double: Garfield Sobers, Ian Botham, Kapil Dev, Jacques Kallis and Daniel Vettori.

To Dom Sibley's credit he looks to be putting these good balls out of his mind. He's missing more than he's hitting but doesn't look like doing anything daft.

It's all about survival tonight. Sibley has two from 23 balls.

Gabriel is giving absolutely everything, the big fella. He even entertained us with a regal boundary when he came out to bat.

  7. Eng 11-0published at 6 overs

There would be plenty of nails being bitten in the stands in normal circumstances around now. It's tense with 15 minutes to go in the day. It'd be a big boost for England if they can get through unscathed.

  8. Eng 11-0published at 5.1 overs

Shot. That should settle the nerves a little. Burns with a drive down the ground for four.

They are hanging on grimly here, England's openers. West Indies have bowled well again, attacking that off stump, making them play. I've been impressed with Gabriel - he has that good angle for an opening bowler.

  10. Eng 7-0published at 5 overs

The West Indies fielders are very loud and who can blame them with almost every ball zipping past Sibley's edge.

There are yelps of "catch" after one flicks something down the leg side. Dowrich dropped it anyway.

Mike Bell: Stuart Broad has missed out on this Test. The selectors called it a 'rest'. But Broad's made it clear. He deserved to appear. So no rest next Test might be best.

Ben Stokes doesn't have his pads on so he has plenty of faith in his inexperienced top order. It's actually clouding over just to make things even more tricky.

  13. WI 6-0published at 3.3 overs

Careful, Dominic. When you've already been bowled not playing a shot once, you've got to have a lot of confidence to leave a similar ball again.

    Good leave this time. Just.

  14. Eng 6-0published at 3 overs

You can't argue that West Indies have got this ball talking more than England managed. Probably more than the great Jimmy Anderson too.

West Indies appeal for a caught behind but that looked to be thigh pad rather than bat.

Mark Burt: Already Gabriel looks more dangerous than Archer and Woods. Sums up the difference between the two sides. WI quicks obsessed about bowling the right areas. England quicks just obsessed about bowling fast. We are getting schooled.

  16. Eng 6-0published at 2.3 overs

Dom Sibley is off his pair but there are still plenty of gasps and groans from the slips. The ball squirts down to fine leg off an inside edge.

That was a great delivery, it rose up and took the glove. It could have easily taken a thinner, feather of the glove and gone up to a fielder.

    Is this the same pitch?

Dom Sibley takes one on the arm from Roach.

This is where as an opening batsman you have to realise that it will get easier.

The 310 runs they'd need in this innings to get there looks a long way off at the moment.

Burns is beaten again at the end of the over.

The slip fielders are loving what they're seeing.
