Dowrich clips a full toss from Archer to the square leg boundary for four. Archer going for the yorker but not quite getting it right.

    That will frustrate Jofra.

That was an exhibition of how not to play the short ball.

If you turn your head away you are going to be in trouble.

    WI 113-4

West Indies fans can breathe. It didn't take long for TV umpire Michael Gough to reverse the decision. At full speed it did look out but the ball hitting Dowrich's elbow rather than bat or glove.

Dowrich has immediately reviewed it. He reviewed straight away which often suggests the batsman is OK.

Superb short ball from Archer, caught in the slips. Given out. But Dowrich reviews straight away.

    Target 200

Whether you're a fan of DRS or not, you can't deny that it adds a real element of drama to Test cricket.

Bess completes the over. West Indies need 87 more runs to win the first Test.

That is the second one Bess has had denied on umpire's call. It was good bowling. He is getting plenty of revolutions on the ball.

You can see why it was given not out. It was only a tiny part of the ball in line.

    WI 112-4

There wasn't enough of the ball clipping the leg stump for it to be given out. Yet another umpire's call. Dowrich survives.

Bess strikes Dowrich on the pads. Given not out. England review.

  14. WI 109-4published at 15:21 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

Archer carries on with the short stuff and follows it up with a glare at Blackwood. England looking to unsettle the settled batsman.

And it nearly works as Blackwood looks to uppercut the seamer and completely misses out.

Blackwood has to then pick himself up off the ground after leaning out of the way of another Archer bouncer.

For all those who were questioning Archer's inclusion during the first innings, this is why he was selected. A brilliant over.

Blackwood has played beautifully. He has played like a high-class batsman. We are so used to him having a dash and taking risks but he hasn't done that.

Shane Dowrich the new batsman in. England have a spring in their step as Bess continues.

But Jermaine Blackwood reminds us he is still there with a glorious drive through mid-off for four.

    Game on.
