  1. WI 57-3published at 14:09 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Target 200

The headband-wearing, England's record wicket-taking, James Anderson replaces Mark Wood.

Three singles from the over, including one down to Joe Denly at a wide third man.

Is this the final time we'll see the Kent-man in the England whites this summer? Or ever?

Everything just seems to be a little easier for West Indies now. It has just settled down.

England have just leaked a few easy singles.

  3. WI 54-3published at 14:04 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

Chase and Blackwood look a bit more composed out there as Dom Bess concedes three in the over.

How much are England missing a home crowd right now? They'd certainly be getting behind their team.

Mark Wood took a bit of a tumble in his follow through in that previous over and left the field. So we can expect a change in the attack coming up.

West Indies are a quarter of the way there!

England are nearly a third of the way there.

    It is getting tense.

  6. WI 50-3published at 14:00 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Target 200

Stokes strikes me as the type of fella who'd excel at any sport.

Blackwood gets into his shot well and drives Wood through cover for four.

He then works it fine off the hips to bring up the West Indies 50.

A quarter of the way there for the tourists.

Ben Stokes would be a good goalkeeper. He was going the wrong way and then stuck out a hand. If that had been taken it would have been catch of the season.

  8. dropped catch

Blackwood dropped on 5published at 13:57 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    WI 45-3

    Dom Bess continues.

Blackwood plays a cut, Ben Stokes at slip anticipates the shot and starts moving to his right. But he is too far across, wrong-footed and unable to take the catch. If it came off, we'd be saying what a brilliant piece of fielding from Stokes.

    Blackwood survives.

  9. WI 42-3published at 13:52 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Chase 15, Blackwood 5

That's nice from Mark Wood who goes fuller and beats the outside edge of Blackwood, the ball with slight movement away from the batsman who plays inside the line.

Then a play and a miss from Chase, fishing outside the off stump.

Windies desperately looking for a bit of stability and a big partnership here.

  10. Could Campbell leave the bubble for an X-ray?published at 13:49 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Simon Mann
    BBC Test Match Special

Before lunch we were asked if John Campbell could leave the ground, and the bio-secure bubble, to get an X-ray at hospital.

The procedure is that the team doctor books a room at a local, low-risk private hospital that has been agreed prior to the match.

The doctor and player would then wait in the car park until authorised to go into the room which will have been deep-cleaned and sanitised.

They would leave immediately leave and if required could continue to play in the match.

  11. WI 38-3published at 13:49 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Target 200

Dom Bess, donning the shades with his collar up, flights them in. There's a bit of turn as Blackwood, looking to flick it square, pads it up and over Ollie Pope at short leg.

A reminder that opener John Campbell retired hurt after being hit on the toes by a Jofra Archer yorker in the morning session. Campbell hobbled off but is expected to bat later, if required.

West Indies are under pressure but it is not inconceivable they will win this game.

  13. WI 38-3published at 16 overs

    Target 200

Captain Stokes is yet to bowl in this fourth innings. Quite happy to see his England bowling attack do the damage.

Jermaine Blackwood and Roston Chase exchange singles, both coming courtesy of a clip into mid-wicket.

John: Don't know why people doubt Stokes, whether the toss or selection of Broad. He has the habit of delivering. Who would bet against a magic over from him later today.

Archer bowled beautifully this morning. He walks back onto the field and shares a joke with Dom Sibley and Rory Burns. England are all smiles.

It will be Mark Wood to Jermaine Blackwood. Here we go.

Cricket is back. Recreational cricket is back and county cricket is back. It's a good feeling.

    Thanks, Matt.

Whether this is the last session or not, Test cricket is back.

What a game we’ve had. England are favourites. But West Indies are still in it.

Can we expect more twists and turns?

Right, I'm off for my own lunch. Kal Sajad will accompany you through the afternoon session. Will it be the last one of this game...?

Genuine question - has the 'umpire's call' margin been changed recently? I'm sure that much of the ball hitting the stumps would have been enough to overturn the decision previously.
