This is very disappointing for West Indies. They will hope he can get something done to that foot. He's got his toes in the air as he's walking off the pitch. They need him back and batting at some point in the day.

Campbell retires hurt on 1published at 12:09 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

Well, this looked like some routine treatment on the foot but John Campbell is now hobbling off.

Was it that full yorker he got first up from Archer?

Campbell could come back later but England have made a breakthrough of sorts.

John Campbell is getting some treatment. While we wait here are the highlights of the England innings this morning.

That looks a great spot, it really kicked off a length. A beautiful piece of bowling. Archer just has to be a little patient.

  5. WI 6-0published at 4 overs

    Brathwaite 3, Campbell 1

Jofra Archer received criticism in the first innings. Some of it was justified some of it was not. In this innings, despite not yet topping 90mph, he has started very well. West Indies score their first runs off the bat but Archer beats the edge again too.

England are energised. Claps and shouts, Dom Bess at long leg was Jofra Archer's biggest cheerleader.

This pitch is like a night out. It starts off calm and civilised, but you know that later anything could happen.

    Target 200

He did indeed although that was off the spinner. It is still strange to see no catches in the slips off the quick bowlers.

An attempted inswinger from Anderson that goes down the leg side is the first bad ball England have bowled so far.

It seemed to be up in the air for an age. A bit of fortunate there for West Indies but there is a bit in this pitch. A great ball, seamed away and bounced.

  12. WI 2-0published at 2 overs

    Target 200

That must have been Jofra Archer's best over of the match. The final ball leaps and takes the shoulder of John Campbell's bat. Ollie Pope scrambles in from cover to try and take the catch but even with a dive he can't get there.

  13. WI 2-0published at 1.4 overs

Good call from Tuffers and from England. It pitched an inch or two outside leg stump.

Still, this has been a very good start from Jofra Archer.

Oh I think that was pitching outside leg. It was full.

  15. WI 2-0published at 1.1 overs

Big appeal first up from Archer. It was a very full yorker. If it has hit Campbell on the full it will be out but England decide against a review.

Two leg byes to West Indies.

  16. WI 0-0published at 1 over

    Target 200

An immaculate length from Anderson in his first over. Brathwaite looks a little uncertain as to whether to play or leave.

Archer will share the new ball.

Encouraging signs that for Anderson. We didn't get a lot of swing in the first innings but that one definitely swung.

  19. WI 0-0published at 0.3 overs

There's swing for Anderson here which must make Ben Stokes feel a little more confident.
