West Indies know the next two hours will be chaotic for them in the field. They have just got to try and get wickets.

If Stokes stays out there the scoreboard will tick so quickly and give England the chance to declare late this evening.

Craig Moore: For cricketers that I didn't mind seeing them do well against England: Brendon McCullum. Used to love watching B-Mac in full flow.

Right then, Jos Buttler, what you got?

He sees off his first ball from Roston Chase, which spins sharply.

It scuttled through and got stuck between Pope's legs. That is a sign of what is going on out there.

Well, this is my favourite thing I've seen all day.

Ollie Pope is out lbw and the ball has got stuck inbetween his knees! Pope steps back to Roston Chase, who fires one in a bit quicker, and the ball ends up ensconsed in his knees. So very, very out.

  8. What next for Archer and England?published at 15:14 British Summer Time 17 July 2020

Does Jofra Archer's punishment fit the crime? Should he play in the third Test? And how should England handle him from now on?

Our very own Stephan Shemilt addresses all these questions and more here...

Hope got plenty of hand on that. Dear me. That could be expensive.

The bowler will feel Hope should have caught that.

  11. dropped catch

You know, when it isn't your day...

Ben Stokes leans back, trying to gently guide the ball away, and a flying Shai Hope gets both hands to the ball at gully and spills it! Gabriel looks mutinous.

I think Ollie Pope has been sent out in third gear.

  13. Eng 346-4published at 128 overs

Roston Chase whirls his way through another over.

Meanwhile, Matt and I are debating our favourite cricketers from teams that used to smash England. You know those players you didn't mind doing well against your team because they were just so good? Dale Steyn is my top example.

Josh Land: First time in a long time that Buttler will be coming in with a decent score all ready on board. Time to see if he can do it.

That was England's highest partnership in a home Test for nine years, and their highest partnership anywhere since Stokes at Jonny Bairstow went wild against South Africa at Cape Town in 2016.

  16. Eng 343-4published at 127 overs

Ollie Pope, who will have had his pads on for a while, gets to face Shannon Gabriel first up.

Gabriel comes charging in and has to abort as a fly lands in his eye.

A tremendous innings. Sibley played his way. It was his method. It was how England required him to play.
