He's moving a lot like Angus Fraser in the field. I always remember Gus' being permanently stiff whilst in the field.

    Bess 15, Broad 11

After Stuart Broad drills a ball into his boot, Shannon Gabriel looks up and gives a puff of the cheeks big enough to blow down the pavilion.

    One of those days.

Stuart Broad did some gardening mid-over but the last two balls haven't hit the pitch!

  5. Eng 452-9published at 160.1 overs

Oh at least Shannon is laughing about this.

Instead of the bouncer he opts for a yorker but it pitches about five yards after the pitch a mile wide of the stumps.

Shannon Gabriel might try and knock Stuart Broad's head off now. I imagine he's angry.

Josh Roberts: Gabriel doing a lot of impressions this innings... did a ‘Harmison’ this morning and has now just followed it up with a Lyon! The greatest of impersonators.

  10. Eng 447-9published at 159.1 overs

It gets worse on every replay. I'm not sure how Shannon Gabriel managed that. His team-mates can't believe it either. The England innings should be over.

That's a great throw from the boundary and my word, Gabriel's missed the stumps by about six inches! How's he missed from there?!

Oh no! I proper howler of Massimo Taibi in goal for Man Utd proportions. Stuart Broad should be run out by a mile. The throw comes in and Broad isn't in the picture but, inexplicably, after collecting the ball Gabriel misses the stumps from inches away.

Stuart - stop picking on Shannon. It's not allowed. Gabriel is trying to hide down at fine leg and chill out but Broad puts him under pressure looking for a second and the West Indies' big fast bowler fumbles.

  16. Eng 431-9published at 157.1 overs

I shouldn't have doubted Stuart Broad who gets down and sweeps to the boundary. In fairness he's helped greatly by Shannon Gabriel's stiff fielding.

Joe Root may as well declare here. Dom Bess blocks out a maiden.
