It was a lovely innings but an ugly dismissal - he carved a full toss to deep mid-wicket. He's changed the whole complexion of the game there.

    Broad c Blackwood b Chase 62 (Eng 356-9)

Shame. It's actually a fairly tame dismissal that brings Stuart Broad's fantastic counter-attacking cameo to an end.

A pre-meditated slog sweep but it's a low full toss from Roston Chase and Broad hits it straight to Jermaine Blackwood at deep mid-wicket.

But what a brilliant innings and a crucial one in the context of this series.

Broad banjaxes 62 off 45 balls to restore England to a strong position after their morning collapse.

Dom Bess sees out a tidy maiden over from Rahkeem Cornwall. Not overly threatening though.

At 33 balls, that is the joint-third fastest half-century we have on record for England. The first two were by Ian Botham, one off 28 balls against India in Delhi in 1981 and 32 balls against New Zealand in 1986.

Stuart Broad scampers a couple more before tapping a single.

That's the 350 up for England - which seemed a long way off when they fell to 280-8 earlier.

Dom Bess does his bit to defend the last ball of the over.

  14. Eng 347-8published at 104.3 overs

That's the joint third fastest half-century in Test by an England batsman. Remarkable.

Stuart Broad is running West Indies ragged - a firm sweep gets through the fielder and away for four. Should've been stopped.

Broad is a lieutenant not a captain. Great senior pro, feisty performer, but not a skipper. Been a pleasure to watch him mature into a genuine top-notch cricketer.

And now Stuart Broad wisely taps it into a gap to pick up a single to keep the strike.

That is a truly memorable half-century by Stuart Broad. There is some playful gesturing from Anderson, on the balcony, and Broad there - I'm not quite sure what that meant. Broad has certainly seized the initiative.

Sorry Ollie Pope but this has been my favourite knock of this innings.

Stuart Broad caps a majestic counter-attack with a magnificent hook over deep backward square leg for four.

Just the 33 balls to reach his half-century.
