Jofra is out of the attack for the time being with Adil Rashid replacing him.

Here's how Archer removed Marcus Stoinis. How do you play that?

We've just seen Stoinis in the changing room looking at a tablet trying to work out the answer.

This is a great opportunity for Tom Curran and Sam Curran. Liam Plunkett has been such a pivotal part of England's success. They need to find that wicket-taking threat in the middle overs.

  3. Aus 45-2published at 11 overs

    Target 232

Tom Curran is into the attack, replacing Chris Woakes, and it's a good start from the Surrey man with just a single off his first over.

There was a couple of times in that over where the ball didn't get to the batsman as you'd expect it to. That may be the slower pace of Curran.

This isn't going to be an easy chase for Australia.

I'd give him one more over.

    How do you manage Archer?

    James Anderson

That was almost a carbon copy of the Roy run-out. When you're defending a modest total, those are the sort of opportunities you need to take.

  7. Aus 43-2published at 10 overs

    Target 232

Marnus Labuschagne is a top, top player isn't he? He times the absolute pants off a cut shot to get off the mark.

Oh! Another missed run-out opportunity for England. It's Sam Billings in the covers this time and Labuschagne would have been a yard or two short at the striker's end with a direct hit.

Jofra's got the teapot out - he has not been impressed by the fielding from his team-mates so far.

  9. Aus 37-2published at 9 overs

    Target 232

This is good from Chris Woakes - he backs up Jofra Archer with a maiden.

He finds a little bit of extra bounce off his final delivery too and it loops up off the top of Aaron Finch's bat but falls a good five yards or so of backward point.

England are well and truly in this game.

    James Anderson

Archer has got England right back in it. It's been hostile. Flying through. He's bowled brilliantly so far.

    Andy Zaltzman
    Test Match Special statistician

That's the second time in Archer's ODI career he has taken two wickets in the opening 10-over powerplay.

  12. Aus 37-2published at 8 overs

    Target 232

Naturally Jofra Archer gives Marnus Labuschagne a bouncer first up but he does well to sway out of the way.

He lets out a yelp in the process, though. That was seriously quick again.

This just the start that England wanted to make. It was a snorter. A horrible delivery for Stoinis to play.

    WICKETpublished at 7.5 overs

    Stoinis c Buttler b Archer 9 (Aus 37-2)

Oh, my! How do you play that!?!

It's a well-directed bouncer from Jofra Archer - as we've become accustomed to it's straight, around throat height and Marcus Stoinis has no answer. He gets in a tangle and can only fend it up in the air for Jos Buttler to complete a simple catch.

This is the Archer I've been waiting to see all summer. This is an utterly devastating spell.

    Michael Vaughan

There's something affecting all of the fielders out there. Jonny Bairstow is as good as they come. It's very unusual to see him make that sort of mistake.

  16. Aus 37-1published at 7.5 overs

    Target 232

England's fielding during this series against Australia has been atrocious to be honest. There's another misfield and it costs England a couple as runs as Jonny Bairstow lets one through his legs at deep square leg resulting in a boundary.

Marcus Stoinis is sniffing for an overthrow off the next ball too. England's throwing has been wild.

  17. Postpublished at 17:58 British Summer Time 13 September 2020

If you're an England fan watch this once, watch this twice and why not watch it again for good measure.

  18. Aus 31-1published at 7 overs

    Target 232

Short and wide from Chris Woakes and Aaron Finch gives it the treatment it deserves by crunching it to the fence.

I must say the wicket doesn't seem as two-paced as it did during the England innings.

    Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on Test Match Special

The one thing Australia have in their favour is the run-rate is never going to get beyond them. Even if they lose a few wickets, they could just play the Test-match game for a while.

  20. Aus 25-1published at 6 overs

    Target 232

After a quick check and new helmet Aaron Finch is cleared to continue. It's a fantastic follow-up from Jofra Archer with a 90mph delivery on fifth-stump line.

The one that hit Aaron Finch on the helmet was 91mph too. Jofra has found some rhythm during the white-ball series.
