  2. Aus 92-2published at 19 overs

    Target 232

Tom Curran is doing a decent, if not threatening, job so far. His five overs have gone for just 16.

He's played for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash for the last two seasons so he's someone the Australian's will be more than familiar facing.

  3. Vote for the best T20 six of the summerpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 13 September 2020

We've only had a handful in this game, but there were 59 sixes in England's Twenty20 matches against Pakistan and Australia this summer.

And we're so nice that we've created a vote so you can pick your favourite. Well, of the six that made our shortlist at least. Have a watch of this and vote here.

  4. Aus 87-2published at 18 overs

    Target 232

Hmmm, I'm not sure about that Sam Curran.

He starts well with a good length, a little bit of shape in but then he bangs one in half way down the track. At 77mph you can't bowl there, Sammy.

Aaron Finch duly wallops it to the mid-wicket boundary.

As I expected Adil Rashid is out of the attack.

Aaron Finch and Marnus Labuschagne have done a job on England's leggie there.

Sam Curran is on for his first bowl of the day. How England could do with his golden arm here.

Marnus Labuschagne is blowing bubbles with his gum. I've never seen a batsman do that. It would serve him right if it burst all over his nose.

  7. Aus 82-2published at 17 overs

    Target 232

Oh! Half an appeal from England as Tom Curran strikes Aaron Finch on the pad but he's a long way down the pitch.

Stuart Broad on Sky Sports: "I'm sure this won't surprise you, but I'd have reviewed that." No Stuart, that doesn't surprise us at all.

Let's be grateful that Stuart isn't playing. The contact was over 3m from the stumps and it was going on to miss the stumps. It practically had zilch going for it.

A lovely cover drive brings Marnus Labuschagne a boundary. He's making massive bubbles out of his bubble gum in between deliveries too. A truly unique cricketer.

We're just taking drinks at the moment.

If you're just joining us here are the two wickets to fall so far.

Jofra Archer's opening spell of 2-22 was simply devastating.

Adil Rashid holds the key, but he hasn't quite found his length. Aaron Finch has messed him about nicely.

They had the men up, saying to Finch 'go on, hit it'. And he did.

  11. Aus 75-2published at 16 overs

    Target 232

Shot! England have their straight fielders up for Aaron Finch - I imagine because they can't afford to give away cheap singles down the ground - but he is so strong straight as he lofts a one-bounce four over mid-off.

Adil Rashid's three overs have cost England 27 so far. That was not part of England's and Eoin Morgan's plan.

It may be time to go back to pace at both ends because Finch is looking good and Marnus Labuschagne is picking Rashid out of the hand at the moment so they are looking comfortable.

  12. Postpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 13 September 2020

Aaron Finch has played really well for his 33 so far.

Here's that massive six from Adil Rashid's first over.

  13. Aus 66-2published at 15 overs

    Target 232

A maiden from Tom Curran - that is absolutely brilliant. His three overs have only cost four runs so far.

There's a little bit of up and down bounce for him too as an off-cutter is mis-read by Aaron Finch and it only just evades off stump.

    James Anderson
England bowler on Test Match Special

Aaron Finch was so quick to spot there was only four in the ring and was straight on to the square leg umpire.

  15. Aus 66-2published at 14 overs

    Target 232

Aaron Finch is an intelligent cricketer isn't he? He notices England only have four in the ring - which is a no-ball meaning he can't be out - so he has an almighty heave. It's agricultural but a bottom edge ends up going away for four behind square. Jofra Archer was the guilty party by the way.

The free hit is thrown in really flat and wide by Adil Rashid and Finch can only get it down the ground for a single.

  17. Aus 57-2published at 13 overs

    Target 232

Tidy again from Tom Curran with just three singles coming off his second over.

The next 10-15 overs are going to be crucial you feel. England have lost their middle-over wicket-taking machine in Liam Plunkett. Who is going to take on that responsibility?

  18. Postpublished at 18:22 British Summer Time 13 September 2020

    Adil Rashid in one-day cricket?

    Rashid Khan in T20 cricket?

    That's my penny's worth anyway.

Andrew Stone: Adil Rashid, Rashid Khan or Adam Zampa as the best one-day leggie?

  20. 6 runs

    Aus 54-2published at 12 overs

    Target 232

Australia are going to target Adil Rashid, I think.

It's a rank delivery from the leggie but Aaron Finch just gets down on one knee and wallops it back down the ground for the second six of the innings.

Adam Zampa took 3-36 earlier, what can Rashid do? His 10 overs are going to be crucial in deciding this game.
