Any small 30-40-run partnership is going to be absolutely crucial. If England can just muster a partnership and get to the last 10 overs, with five wickets in hand, and be around 170-180.

Woakes hooks a Hazlewood bouncer, crunching it out of the middle, but the sweeper does well to keep it to just a single. The DJ has had a good day, but is now playing a pretty iffy version of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car.

There is a pen museum in Birmingham. Actually interesting & you get to make your own pen nib.

I suppose these places sound mundane when you hear about them, but might actually be really interesting. I'm going to need more info. If you've been to one of them and they've turned out to be brilliant, let me know.

I went to a needle museum in Redditch... didn't get the point!

Absolutely glorious in Manchester, the clearest of blue skies means you can see for miles around. Zampa serves up a gift to Woakes, a full toss which is bunted back down the ground for four. Woakes has arrived with more fluency than anyone else in the England team so far today.

That's a handsome stroke, one of the shots of the day from Chris Woakes. That is the Woakes shot - we like his cover drive.

  8. Eng 122-5published at 32 overs

Rare moment of freedom for England as Woakes belts the returning Josh Hazlewood through the covers for four. Still, the rest of the over shows a hint of uneven bounce. Australia will need at least two overs from Marsh or Stoinis at some point.

Dortmund has it's very own health and safety museum. Imagine the minutes of entertainment in there!

The Aussie chatter reminds me that my other half has got me watching Married At First Sight Australia. Incredible telly.

Anything over 200 will be hard for Australia to chase. It's certainly doing enough for England to fancy their chances but they've got to get to that 200 and that looks the most difficult aspect at this stage.

  12. Eng 117-5published at 30.3 overs

Huge, huge shout against Chris Woakes from Adam Zampa. Only an inside edge has saved him. England might not score another run at this rate.

I think the noise for the Morgan wicket was the loudest celebration of the day from Australia.

Not for one second am I having that there's a coffin museum.

Ed Dymott: Surely the Bakelite and Plastic Museum in Williton, Somerset, has to be up there in full museums.

thomas day: There's a coffin museum in Birmingham.

Australia will give England no let-up here. Three quicks and Zampa will be asking questions for the remainder of the innings. Sam Curran has a his pads on, sitting next to Eoin Morgan, who is already changed into his training kit. Maiden from Pat Cummins.

    Andy Zaltzman
    Test Match Special statistician

Adam Zampa has taken 6-71 in this series. He'd played against England five times before and took 2-267 in 44.2 overs. He's faring rather better this time.

  18. Eng 117-5published at 29 overs

Chris Woakes arrives and Australia give him a silly point for company. It wasn't too long ago that Woakes was doing his bit to win a Test with the bat on this ground for England. They need that now...

That's a huge moment. It's brilliant bowling to bamboozle a batsman that is in and plays spin so well.

It looked like the googly but it doesn't go the other way. It goes like the leg-spinner and you can understand why Eoin Morgan played the line he did.

That is a fantastic review from Adam Finch and a brilliant piece of bowling from Adam Zampa.
