    A Just: Chris Woakes is pure class in English conditions. Frequently underused and brought on after the other bowlers have had a go, but still picks up key wickets.

    Oh, this is plumb.

    I love that, for half a second, Azhar Ali thought about reviewing this. He plays all around his front pad to Chris Woakes once again and gets walloped at about ankle height. Woakes has a huge grin on his face as he turns to appeal; he knows, Azhar knows, the umpire knows, and this game is just tipping again.

    Chris Woakes has a good record against these two batsmen. He has dismissed them both four times in Test cricket. Azhar has 69 runs against him and Shafiq has 66 runs.

    Asad Shafiq takes on Joe Root's arm and then sneaks an extra run as a terrible throw from Root beats Ben Stokes and has to be chased down by Jofra Archer.

    I suppose you can't really yell at your captain when they mess up, can you? Asad ends the over with a tidy sweep for four.

    Archer's entire career could well be defined by him bowling a handful of balls at 95mph in his first Test. Nobody can bowl that quick all the time. He looks better with the surprise quicker bouncer anyway, doesn't need to do it every over.
