Since the start of the 2018 English summer, Ben Stokes has dropped 16 out of 52 chances.
A Jofra Archer short ball brushes the top of Azhar Ali's helmet as he tries to duck underneath it, before another edge goes begging!
It's a loose push forward from Azhar, Archer following up a short ball with a full delivery, and the edge drops just short of Ben Stokes.
Ah, it's a no ball anyway...
Babar Azam has come out to join his skipper.

I'd go straight to the hotel if I was him. I don't think you'd want to be walking into the dressing room having played that shot.
I'd like to see Younis' notes on that one.

I think the captain and coach of Pakistan will be furious with Abid Ali. There is no need, they're controlling the game. It is a horrendous shot in the situation of the game.
Abid c Woakes b Bess 20 (Pak 33-2)
Well, this is awful.
An absolutely dreadful shot as done for Abid Ali. He goes down to sweep the last ball of Dom Bess' over but, rather than playing it along the ground, he hoicks it high into the air. It's far too easy for Chris Woakes to wander in off the boundary and take a simple catch.
An edge! Abid Ali gets turned around by Dom Bess and the ball just bobbles over the head of Ollie Pope at short leg.
Dom Bess is going to have an early twirl.

You might remember that flying catch Asad Shafiq took at slip earlier to dismiss Dom Bess. Well, our social media guru Max Chesterton asked you to put your photoshop skills to good use. And you delivered...

A healthy 86mph bouncer from Jofra Archer comes Abid Ali's way, and he tucks himself underneath it.
The next ball is back of a length and Abid, up on tiptoes, can punch it away for an easy single.

I think that's the first time in my life that I could say that James Anderson looked a bit old. I was surprised, it was like his back needed a bit of a wheel to get down.
War and Peace is one of those books that I have on my shelves to look intelligent but I've never actually started it. Admittedly, that's slightly spoilt by having Michelle Visage's autobiography next to it, but you like what you like.
James Anderson adds to his sparkling mood by mis-fielding at mid-off and allowing Abid Ali to nab a couple of runs. He's properly ticking.
Younis Khan has got his notepad out again.
I can only assume he's writing a sequel to War and Peace.

A good take from Jos Buttler, diving to his left to collect a Jofra Archer outswinger, before a flay off the back foot by Abid Ali is kept to just a single.
Hello! It'll be Jofra Archer, and not James Anderson, to bowl the second post-tea over.

What England don't want is Azhar Ali to find form this innings. There's a bit of pressure on him, he's not averaged great of late. If they get him cheaply, even if England don't win this game, they can take that into the next Test.
Stuart Broad gets through the rest of his over without alarm.
