A no-ball after all that.

Come on umpires - please don't let us wait till 15:20 BST! We've waited a day and a half for cricket.
Michael Vaughan
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
I'm looking forward to it - I'm going to be honest. We've been void of any action for a few days so I'm excited.

The England batsman are on the boundary, the Pakistan players are there too but where are the umpires? It's cricket, if we said it's going to be a 15:20 BST start, it will be a 15:20 start.
Mohammad Abbas will open the proceedings in the sunshine after the completion of Jerusalem over the PA system.

It doesn't matter what the situation is - it's Test cricket. There are careers, landmarks and possibly failures to be had. It's a big opportunity for Sibley and Crawley and just have a good look at the Pakistan bowlers ahead of the next game.
Thanks Callum. Glorious weather for the denouement. There was really hot sunshine yesterday afternoon too after they called off play for the day. A reminder it's just the one session...56 overs they say.
Right, after live texting the sum total of zero balls, I'm going to hand over to Jamie Lillywhite.
Fingers crossed we get some decent cricket to at least entertain us for a couple of hours.
Andy Zaltzman
Test Match Special statistician
There haven't been many Tests here, the lowest score is 178 all out by India. So to bowl England out twice would be good going!

It'll be a funny one for Pakistan. I assume they'll want to strike a few blows and damage some confidence before the third Test.
But is there any point putting miles into their fast bowlers legs? And the run-up area is covered in sawdust. What if Shaheen slipped and turned an ankle?
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England women's batter on Test Match Special
For the older players like Jimmy and Stuart there's nothing in it but for Zak Crawley it's a brilliant opportunity. I always found if there was too long between games I lost my flow so I enjoyed batting in the middle rather than nets.
At least this allows England to learn a little bit more about the likes of Dom Sibley and Zak Crawley.
They've only played 10 and six Tests respectively and they'll get a stern examination from Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah.
Mark Ramprakash
Ex-England batsman on BBC Test Match Special
If you bat for an hour and a half out there it is worth about eight nets. These players have had very little match practice. I'm looking forward to watching Zak Crawley because he doesn't take a backward step. He's a very confident young man and it's always good to have competition for places. If he gets a score it reinforces his position.

England are in a big team huddle now. It looks like Chris Silverwood is speaking.
Just to add to Matt's note about there being no tea period.
The last hour - and in theory when the players can bump elbows on a draw - begins at 18:00 or after 41 overs have been bowled, which ever is later.

It will just be one long session. Tea is being taken from 15:00 BST.
There are 56 overs to be bowled.
Good luck with that.
I'm already looking forward to the anger of everyone when we go off for tea at 16:00.
(Session times are still TBC - I'm winding you up!)
What are the chances of it raining or becoming too dark in the next 50 minutes?
