Wouldn't have been the first one I thought of, Mark. But good call.
Just those two runs from Abbas' over but England continue to bat out of their crease.

Mark Cohen: Got to add Matt WINDows to the ‘Wind XI’. Middle order batsman for the Gloucestershire 'one-day kings' of the 90s/00s.
Much like Crawley did earlier, Root takes a few steps down the wicket to Abbas and nudges into the covers for two runs.
Pakistan bowling coach Waqar Younis and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq share some last minute advice for the bowlers.
The always-threatening Mohammad Abbas will continue after lunch.

However Crawley reached his fourth 50 in Test cricket right on the stroke of lunch…

Dom Sibley was going along quietly before being outdone by the leg-spin of Yasir Shah. Kudos to umpire Michael Gough for a brilliant decision…

I think Pakistan struggled because of the windy conditions. Crawley played some magnificent shots, his balance was good and he got on top of the bowlers.
Crawley was undoubtedly the star of the morning, playing some glorious shots at a quick rate...

Paul Williams: Slight sour grapes (and perhaps many tweeted this selection) but I sent in Hurri-Kane Williamson at least an hour before it was posted up in the chat feed for the wind themed XI.
In came Zak Crawley and greeted his first ball with a four…

Nick Hatcher: Don't worry, Burns will smash it in the Ashes. The growing of that tache is crucial character prep for the psychological battles to come...

I have been very impressed with Shaheen Afridi, his growth as a cricketer and as a leader of this attack.
But then those struggles continued as Shaheen dismissed Burns for the third time in this series. A smart catch by Shan Masood...
So England won the toss and opted to bat first.
Opener Rory Burns has struggled against the left-arm seam of Shaheen Afridi this series. But he got off the mark with this guided boundary…
