Top stuff, Amy.
Afternoon all, a tad breezy in Southampton, eh? I’ve been blown away by some of your Wind XI suggestions. Sam Northeast-early has to be my favourite. Keep ‘em coming.
A good start for the hosts. As the players munch down their lunch, we'll take a look at the best of this morning's session.
Not a bad morning's play, I'd say?
I'm off for a bit. It'll be Kal Sajad to take you through to tea.

A good morning session for England, although Pakistan came back well in the second hour.
And a lovely drive for four brings Zak Crawley his half-century!
He's played terrifically so far, notching seven fours in his 80-ball 50. He can go into lunch with a smile on his face.

The last 20 minutes has been good for Pakistan, bringing the run-rate down. They've bowled with more control and a disciplined line and length.
Can Zak Crawley get to his half-century before lunch?
He's got two more deliveries to see off...
It'll be Shaheen Afridi to bowl the final over before lunch.

If Pakistan take another wicket then it is an even session. But otherwise, England are on top. They were proactive, made some good decisions, especially against Yasir Shah.
Joe Root finally gets a couple of runs off Yasir Shah, courtesy of a quick push and scamper down the pitch.

Crawley went for that big, booming drive. Shaheen Afridi with the moral victory there by drawing in that shot.
With five minutes or so until lunch, Zak Crawley leaves and defends his way through the first half of Shaheen Afridi's over.
The fourth ball draws a horrible, loose drive, Crawley's patience just fading on him, and it almost results in a third wicket for Pakistan.

Joe Root needs to be careful. Yasir Shah got him in the first Test in similar fashion. It was too close to cut.
And again!
Joe Root, trying that little guide down to third man, almost edges behind for the second time in the over. Hmm.
Oh, perilously close for Joe Root!
He goes back, close to his stumps, trying a cut shot, and narrowly avoids nicking through to Mohammad Rizwan. That was the exact shot that did for him in Manchester in the first Test.
Here's how Dom Sibley's innings came to an end.
Shaheen Afridi pings delivery after delivery across Zak Crawley, keeping him waiting on 49.

Pakistan need to tighten the screws a little bit. They'd like to get one more wicket before lunch to get things a bit more even.
Shaheen Afridi is going to replace Naseem Shah.
