Oh, it's a beautiful ball.
Masood lbw b Anderson 4 (Pak 6-1)
Pitched in line, hitting the stumps, Shan Masood has yet again fallen victim to James Anderson. It pitched on middle and leg and moved back into the batsman.
England have the early breakthrough.

This one might be a bit tighter.
Pak 6-1
Has James Anderson, yet again, taken the wicket of Shan Masood? This looks out to me. It's given by the umpire. But Masood reviews. I think he's a goner.

Just me or does Zak Crawley look like a young Fernando Torres?

Masood 4, Abid 1
Stuart Broad, with the white bandanna tied round his head, completes his over. He might not have the wicket, but a stern reminder to Pakistan just how good England's second all-time leading wicket-taker is.

It didn't feel right.
Pak 3-0
Dan Norcross is right, it hit Masood outside the line of off stump. The opener survives. But Broad making things happen straight away.

It looks like it's hit him outside the line.

Shan Masood didn't move for quite some time.
Pak 3-1
Stuart Broad strikes Shan Masood on the pads with his second ball of the innings. It's given out but Masood reviews. I have a feeling this hit Masood outside the line.

Arslan: Pakistan need a Babar Azam 300 to save the game!
Abid Ali nudges Anderson off the pads to get off the mark and Shan Masood pushes into the off side for one more.
Twelve more overs to negotiate for this Pakistan opening pair.
As Aggers has pointed out, the umpires have taken at look at tomorrow morning's forecast and decided they won't start at 10:30 BST. The usual 11:00 BST start it is.
Shan Masood, who has historically struggled against Anderson, is off the mark straight away, clipping a pitched-up delivery into mid-wicket for a single.

The start time tomorrow will be 11:00 BST due to inclement weather.
The final hour of day two and only now are Jofra Acher and James Anderson coming into this game. They've had a pretty easy ride so far, feet up, lots of brews, Archer no doubt predicting the future on Twitter or something.
Shan Masood and Abid Ali make their way to the middle. James Anderson with the ball in his hand.

It's quite pleasant at the moment, but I think we'll have to have the floodlights on at some stage.

Andy McNamara: What are the chances England declare and bad light stops play?
Mark Ramprakash
Ex-England batsman on BBC Test Match Special
I feel for Pakistan. They know they can't win the game. When you're in that mindset of having no real purpose, apart from pride, that's a tough place to be. They'll be physically and mentally tired.
