It was a fine catch from Imad Wasim and a good delivery from Shadab Khan. It was straighter and meant Banton wasn't able to get the leverage over to the leg side.

That is clever bowling.
Banton c Imad b Shadab 71 (Eng 109-3)
A fine innings ends with a top edge that sails to cover.
Andy Zaltzman
Test Match Special statistician

Banton scored 20 runs from his first 19 balls and then hit 50 from his next 21.

This is incredible stuff from Tom Banton. He doesn't care if the fielder is there. The timing was ridiculous.

We may have lost this ball...

It is about time Babar put that short fine-leg on the boundary. That was probably the shot of the day.
The impressive range continues, a near yorker from Haris but Banton is able to move across his stumps and scoop it for four, before then employing a similar shot to flick it away for six. Incredible. He's suddenly got 69.

Tom Banton is a serious talent.
Banton's fourth six sails over long on and it takes him beyond 1,000 runs in all T20 matches.

Morgan looks just as he did in the one-dayers against Ireland. Perfect touch.
Morgan dealing exclusively in boundaries, the reverse sweep in the previous over followed by a swept six at Imad. Slight confusion because the sponge rope had been dislodged, but it was definitely six.
Eng 80-2
A fine maiden T20 fifty for Banton from 33 balls.

Eoin Morgan is someone who does like to take the attack to the opposition. He has made his intentions clear first ball. He is probably the best player of the reverse sweep in the world.
Banton 49, Morgan 4
First ball, no matter for Morgan. He brings out the trusty reverse sweep and away it goes to the boundary. Effortless. How many can England add in the second half of their innings?

That is not great running. Malan was committed to the run. He was just stranded. It was a gift of a wicket.
England were just starting to go through the gears. It was a badly timed wicket.
Malan run out 23 (Eng 74-2)
But just as England are beginning to motor, the wheels come off as both batsmen find themselves at the same end. Malan wanted a run, Banton didn't. In comes captain Eoin Morgan.
