Ireland need a bit more of this.
I don't know if the stump mic is extra loud or it's because this big ground is empty, but you can hear everything that's being said by the close fielders and keeper.

It's important Ireland are able to capitalise when the opportunities arise, they will need over 300 to make England nervous.
Tector 26, Tucker 10
Well, he's no James Vince, but it's a very tidy over from Saqib Mahmood.

Saqib has some big shoes to fill!
And here is Saqib Mahmood.

That big shot was enough for Eoin Morgan. The England skipper immediately gave Saqib Mahmood the signal to warm-up. James Vince’s fun is over.
It's been a good day for Adil Rashid.
Saqib Mahmood - who might be feeling a bit miffed about not having a bowl yet - pulls off a superb stop at mid-on to stop Harry Tector piching a four.

It’s actually a bit nerve wracking watching this game from outside. It’s so quiet. If I sneezed I’d be worried I’d put the players off.
Down the pitch comes Lorcan Tucker and he spears James Vince up and over mid-on. It's stopped before it reaches he boundary though by a sliding Reece Topley.
Ooh, and now Harry Tector goes down the ground and sends a lovely four into the boundary rope!

I’m pretty sure Jonny Bairstow has just sledged a group of medics who are sat behind where James Vince is now fielding for not applauding his wicket-taking exploits.

The Irish batsmen are really struggling to pick Rashid's googly from the hand, they are trying to read it from the wicket.
A vociferous lbw appeal against Harry Tector is turned now - drifting down the leg side, perhaps? It was another googly from Rashid and Tector played all around it.
Oh, man, that'll hurt!
Harry Tector clobbers Adil Rashid back down the ground and the ball just skims the top off umpire David Millns' hat! He's OK, thankfully, but that went at full pelt. In fact, it's knocked his sunglasses off!
That's probably the best - and most generous - compliment anyone will ever pay James Vince.

There's a little bit of Jofra Archer in Vince's action - probably 20mph slower but a very smooth action.
James Vince nearly has another as he zips the ball past a wary Lorcan Tucker's edge. Great ball!
Can he now have a go from both ends?
I am delighted to tell you that James Vince is still bowling.

With Willey off the field Ireland will feel they have missed an opportunity. O'Brien is a magnificent ball striker.
