I once worked at the Great Yorkshire Show where Ryan Sidebottom was star guest as a model on the catwalk for a fashion show. Desperate for a wee I snuck into the dressing rooms to use the toilet in there. Never been more startled than when leaving the cubicle and walking straight into the background of him being interviewed on camera in this tiny dressing room. He was blocking the exit so I had to pretend I was cleaning it until I could make my escape. Anyway, on with your day.

Woakes has a reputation of being the nicest man in cricket. He's also my mum's favourite player in this England side, which I think tells you everything you need to know. She's a good judge.

For the first time in these three matches at Emirates Old Trafford, the position of the pitch means we are behind the bowler's arm. It gave the perfect view of that stunning Archer delivery - the arc back into Abid Ali, the journey through the gate, then the timber flying into the air.

Pakistan captain Azhar Ali has come out to the middle, and Jofra Archer greets him with a delivery that whizzes over the top of the stumps.
That ball to get Abid Ali was superb, the more you look at it. Pitched up, after setting him up with the short ball, movement back in, bails akimbo... lovely jubbly.
