  1. Yorkshire all out!published at 15:25 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Yorkshire (252) lead Leicestershire (124) by 128 runs

Well, that was all over in a flash!

Yorkshire's final hopes are over and pretty quickly too.

Leicestershire take their last five wickets for just 13 runs in the space of 28 balls.

They slump from 237-6 to just 252 all out, way short of the magic number of 400 they needed.

It's not quite the end, Ian Bell still has a couple of T20 Blast games left for Warwickshire.

But that's his final ever first-class score. His 90 by the way came off 148 balls with 12 fours.

  3. Somerset dismissed for 193published at 15:20 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

    Worcestershire (200 & 0-0) will need 245 to beat Somerset (251 & 193)

Somerset all out in their second innings at New Road for 193.

Jack Brooks is last to depart for a single to Dillon Pennington.

The over before, Jack Leach was lbw to Ed Barnard for 5.

Tom Lammonby finishes unbeaten on 107 off 220 balls at the other end.

That's also tea and when we return, Worcestershire will need 245 to win and scupper Somerset's hopes of reaching the final.

  4. Thompson falls for Yorkshirepublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Yorkshire (250-8) lead Leicestershire (124) by 126 runs

Make that eight down now for Yorkshire.

Arron Lilley picks up another wicket with his spin as Jordan Thompson is leg before for 62.

We can almost count Yorkshire out of the race for Lord's.

  6. tea approachingpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Meanwhile - tea is on the way on this third day.

Do you think they might delay it in Cardiff to allow Bell to get to 100?!

  7. Yorkshire lose anotherpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Yorkshire (250-7) lead Leicestershire (124) by 126 runs

Seven wickets down now for Yorkshire as their final hopes continue to dwindle.

Matt Fisher is caught and bowled for just one off spinner Arron Lilley.

They have two batting points now, but just the three wickets in hand as they bid to reach 400.

  8. Ian Bell into the 90spublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

    Glam 203 v Warwickshire 186 & 217-3

Ian Bell is just 10 runs away from a century in his final ever red-ball game.

I'm typing this from behind the sofa. My fingers are shaking!

  9. Praise for youngster Lammonbypublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Nice touch here from England's Tom Banton. It's been a super performance from 20-year-old Tom Lammonby who's now on 104 from 218 deliveries.

They've moved to 110-0, Keaton Jennings has 33, while Alex Davies is on 68.

Derbyshire now trail by 134. Remember they need to win this game to keep their hopes of a Lord's final alive.

    Your favourite Bell moment

Mike F: My favourite Bell knock, as a Bear, was his 107 in our first day-night 40 over final to beat Somerset. He was celebrating before the end when he was out with one run still needed. Legend.

  12. Tattersall castledpublished at 15:01 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

Yorkshire (237-6) lead Leicestershire (124) by 113 runs

Jonny Tattersall's fine innings of 71 for Yorkshire has come to an end in emphatic fashion as Ben Mike knocks his off stump out of the ground.

The wicketkeeper falls after building a partnership worth 116 for that sixth-wicket.

Jordan Thompson (53 not out) has also made a half-century.

Yorkshire remember need to get to 400 to still have a faint chance of making the final.

    Hain c Cullen b Douthwaite 65 (Glam 203 v Warwickshire 186 & 196-3)

Sam Hain falls for the highest score in this game by anyone not called Ian Bell.

It ends a superb partnership with Bell joining Hain when Warwickshire were under pressure on 53-2.

Bell by the way is slowing down a bit. He's on 83.

  15. Kent looking strongpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

    (Kent 170 & 112-1) need 69 more runs to beat Hampshire (191 & 159)

Zak Crawley (71 not out) and Marcus O'Riordan (30 not out) have racked up a 100 partnership in no time at all for Kent's second wicket.

The target of 181 now looks very measly in the space of the last 90 minutes with the rate at which Crawley in particular has kept the board moving.

for Tom Lammonbypublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 8 September 2020

    Worc 200 v Somerset 251 & 183-8

No chances of Tom Lammonby remaining stranded, not out in the 90s.

The opener has been brilliant today in what is effectively a semi-final.

His century comes up in 205 balls with 12 fours and three sixes.

Somerset's lead is still 227. The Pears need these last two wickets quick.

A quick single off the hip next ball up and he keeps the strike at the end of the over.

    Only 19 to go!
