    Worcestershire (200 & 122-5) need 123 more runs to beat Somerset (251 & 193)

One more Craig Overton over before lunch In Worcester.

The hosts are just shy of the halfway mark now. Brett D'Oliveira looks good on 24, Ben Cox has five.

  4. 50 runs

up for Derbyshirepublished at 12:28 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Lancashire (219 & 356-6 dec) lead Derbyshire (195 & 52-2) by 329 runs

The 50 comes up for Derbyshire after 19 overs.

I think we can safely rule out a Derbyshire victory in this one.

That means only Worcestershire and Somerset can make it to the final. All eyes turn to New Road then.

  5. Lunch approaching....published at 12:28 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

Heading towards the lunch interval on this final day....

Any more twists and turns before then?

  6. Close!published at 12:24 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Worcestershire (200 & 120-5) need 125 more runs to beat Somerset (251 & 193)

Jack Brooks finds Brett D'Oliveira's edge and the ball flies past third slip.

The ball may be 50 overs old but Somerset's bowlers are still finding plenty of movement.

    The Pears look shakey.

  7. Leicestershire dismissed for 161published at 12:18 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Yorkshire (252 & 0-0) need 34 runs to beat Leicestershire (124 & 161)

All over in Leicestershire's second innings and Jordan Thompson picks up a five-wicket haul for Yorkshire as he bowls number 11 Alex Evans for 15.

That's 5-31 for the right-armer and means Yorkshire will require just 34 to win.

    Terrible shot.

Riki Wessels pulls Josh Davey straight to mid-wicket where Ed Byrom takes a routine catch.

Not what Worcestershire needed as Wessels walks off in disbelief.

Davey now has figures of 2-6.

John Burns: This final day is great. I'm from Warrington so naturally happy to see Lancashire dominating but also spent 5yrs living in Taunton so also like seeing Somerset doing well.

Both look on course for victories at the moment John.

Durham need to bat and bat today and got off to a good start with a partnership of 55 from Michael Jones and nightwatchman Chris Rushworth.

Rushworth can feel hard done too after being given out caught at short leg on 25. The delivery from Matt Carter appeared to hit his pad, with his bat behind the pad and not near the ball.

It didn't look out from the commentary box and it didn't look out on the replays. Haseeb Hameed took the "catch", but Rushworth looked stunned by umpire Ian Ramage's decision. He had been batting nicely until that point.

Meanwhile Jones has reached his first half-century in first-class cricket and is currently on 68 from 197 balls.

Durham lead Notts by 72 runs at 200-3 in their second innings.

  11. Foxes nine downpublished at 12:05 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Yorkshire (252) trail Leicestershire (124 & 139-9) by 11 runs

Colin Ackermann's rearguard for Leicestershire finally comes to an end on 47 as Jordan Thompson is comprehensively through his defences.

Stumps rearranged to leave his side with just one wicket in hand and a very tiny lead.

  12. 100 runs

100 up for Worcestershirepublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Worcestershire (200 & 104-4) need 141 more runs to beat Somerset (251 & 193)

Riki Wessels off the mark with a lovely drive through mid-wicket for four.

Ball before he survived quite a hearty leg before shout from Jack Brooks.

    Lancashire (219 & 356-6 dec) lead Derbyshire (195 & 27-2) by 354 runs

Back at Aigburth, Derbyshire are struggling to get going on 27-2 after 12 overs.

We've got 70 overs to go. The visitors still need 354 runs to win.

  14. Amla dismissedpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Surrey (388 & 55-2) need 101 more runs to beat Sussex (415 & 128)

Interesting news this from The Oval.

Sussex have picked up another timely wicket and it's the big name scalp of Hashim Amla too.

Delray Rawlins has the South African caught at short leg for 18 by Harry Finch.

Rory Burns still unbeaten on 26 at the other end. 101 more still needed to win.

Well, their task has got a bit trickier after losing Jack Haynes, but we hear you Nick....

  16. Yorkshire cling on to onepublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Yorkshire (252) lead Leicestershire (124 & 135-8) by 7 runs

No more mistakes in the field for Yorkshire as Dieter Klein is finally caught at the third time of asking.

Jordan Thompson does the honours at point off Duanne Olivier.

Klein's eventful knock comes to an end on 27. The lead is just seven runs.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

Haynes lbw b Davey 30 (Worcestershire 96-4 need 149 more runs to win)

Jack Haynes won't want to see this again.

A terrible leave as Josh Davey gets the ball to swing in and clatter into Haynes' pads.

    Somerset dominating.

  18. Foxes take the leadpublished at 11:41 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

    Yorkshire (252) trail Leicestershire (124 & 130-7) by 2 runs

Colin Ackermann (42 not out) and Dieter Klein (27 not out) continue to frustrate Yorkshire at Headingley.

They help move them into the lead, which looked highly unlikely at one stage of this innings.

Lots of work still to do though for the Foxes.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:41 British Summer Time 9 September 2020

Madsen lbw b Lamb 9 (Derbyshire 20-2 need 361 more runs to win)

Danny Lamb strikes again as Wayne Madsen is trapped leg before.

Great news for Somerset fans and the ECB tie-breaker panel. I can't see anything but a Lancashire win at Aigburth.
